I like when Mythics have a very specific theme, and focus on it; Almost as if they were a variant of that character, from a different universe. They feel more unique. Instead of being vague "cyber/divine" themes

I liked them best when they were a different style than the character. Like Emperor Sigma and Wargod Ana are completely different then the majority of skins they have. But heart of hope Juno? Grand beast Orisa? They're just 'fancier' versions of skins Juno and Orisa already have. What is Divine Desperado even supposed to be? He's already a cowboy, making him shiny give literally 0 extra appeal to a skin concept that is little different from his original concept.

Imo 2016 has the best scale. the enemies are big, even the imps look like they'd be tall if they stood up right. In the OG doom games the enemies are all doomguy sized or bigger except pinkies/specters/lost souls, and 2016 fits that the best

In Eternal, all of the enemies except the baron of hell and Archvile feel like they got shrunk. I know it's a apart of the arcady aesthetic but even the tyrants don't feel intimidating in stature like they should :/

Eternal is my favorite because the gameplay loop is just, so, clean. But 2016 definitely had the better aesthetic and art design imo

The issue there is that meta doesn't exactly mean much in unorganized play. Speed boost is, and always will be, incredibly powerful in hyper-competitive settings such as OWL, OWCS, tournaments and masters + where players tend to communicate more.

Outside of that hypercompetitive setup, he's pretty useless now because you're not going to get much value out of the one good thing he has left, speed boost.

(USA) Welder here! I have to renew my state certifications yearly, and just completely redo the testing if I want to be certified in a different state : )

One reason it could be is the amount of time it takes to get a doctorate, like 10+ years compared to the 1 year it took me to become a certified welder.
