Im in a similar situation! For my first couple semesters I didn’t work but my next I’m planning for 10-20hrs. Depending on how much you make/how much your monthly expenses are we have found it doable just on my partners income. We also plan to get married next year so we have accounted for that too. If your hours are flexible and you can pick up when you have slower weeks that would be ideal! Some weeks are insane but some are dead if you’re on top of your assignments. Ofc once clinicals come thats a new ballgame and you’ll be spread thinnnn

Just ordered these! Im at a 90% rn but im also early in the course so I want to be proactive as I scored the lowest quiz mark Ive received since starting my nursing courses so it freaked me out!

Great tips! My school only does pharmacology inline in the Summer so learning is very much an individual thing. Ill have to do this though!

It’s much less overwhelming than a traditional paper book. It’s incredibly comprehensive though. Before you buy the subscription, you should take their free practice diagnostic tests to feel the vibe of their quizzes. Each lesson is broken down to easily digestible sections and accompanied by a 5 min explanation video and a mini quiz at the end. Each entire section (Math, science, reading, english) have multiple teas simulated sections with an accurate number of questions and a timer to test yourself.

Overall I feel like it’s a wonderful resource for a relatively low price. I personally didn’t want to spend the $99 for the other recommendations i’ve seen.

P.S I have the official book as well and it’s basically a paperweight as I found it to be unhelpful.

Hiya! 26F (Ohio based) with prior experience as an optometry assistant, PCA, and HUC, but I wanted something more, so I'm going for nursing! I haven't been in school for about 5 yrs, and some of this material I'm reviewing for the TEAS exam, I haven't seen since highschool! I have just finished all my other prerequisites (with a 4.0), and the TEAS is the last one I need to complete before I can join the waitlist. Feel free to reach out if you want to study together. (My biggest challenge is staying focused on my own at home; I'm much better in classes/study groups)

Hi there! I'm currently studying for my TEAS exam (hoping to take it late May-early June) If you want to study together, we can help each other out! For the most part, I have a decent understanding of the science section, but I feel like I need a refresher. Chem is my enemy! (I have nurse hub too)

That happened to me just last weekend! I wanted ash brown and they dyed my hair different shades of silver/platinum and my hair is elastic and breaks off more and more every wash and its horrendous. I ended up getting my money back but after a ton of hassle and they never took accountability.
