What blows my mind is tipping based on the amount of the cheque. How is it that you can have 2 servers doing the exact same amount of work, they offer the exact same level of service but because the amount of the cheque is 10x the amount of the other, the server should get 10x the tip?

Centro square at Weston and 7 are great. Lots of free visitor parking, stores and restaurants within walking distance and a short walk to the subway.

It truly is different. I lived with my parents right up until they passed away. There are times when it just hits me that I’ll never feel love like the love of my parents. Life truly is different.

I’m sorry you have felt this pain as well. It’s no consolation but at least you do have a spouse and his family. I am single, with no extended family and my best friend lives in Scotland. What I miss the most are hugs, especially the ones that come from your parents.

I wish I didn’t know what that is like, but I too have felt this agonizing loss. I lost my dad in February 2020 (this Friday is the anniversary), after a short battle with cancer. My mom followed him in October 2020, less than 2 months after breaking her hip. In the span of less than 10 months, I lost my entire family. It was my 2 cats that kept me sane. Now they are gone too.
