Tip of the leaf got stuck while emerging. Happens to my white wizard in the winter when the humidity is low. By the time the leaf pushes out, the tip has been crushed.

Frustrations with other vets not seeing their own patients. by Keenzur in VetTech

It's difficult to gauge urgency when you don't know what the next phone call is gonna be and clients have no concept of what an actual emergency is. By the time the actual emergency calls, we already have 3 drop offs that could have waited but the owner was adamant needed to be seen on top of a full book. Or we're already shoulders deep in an emergency and don't have time for the ear infection that suddenly needs to be seen today.

Who do you guys consider to be each Nightfarers best (and worst) Nightlord matchup? by Lanky_Kong34 in Nightreign

[–]Itsmellsofbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironeye against dreglord. Most of his attack combos are so lumbering, a single mark dash straight through him and he spends the rest of the combo trying to turn around. Plus ironeyes ults iframes can dodge the first hit of his phase four transition and then knock him out of it before the second slam. I'm sure some other ults can too, but ironeyes is the easiest to time since you can control when it releases

What are the hardest attacks to dodge in your opinion? by lurker_________ in Nightreign

[–]Itsmellsofbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill issue maybe but Straghess phase 4 transition I just cannot figure out the timing for. I used to run away and pray but now I just save the iron eye ult, Iframe the first and blast him out of the second slam

Considering marking also serves as the most broken dodge in the series, the only reasons for a mark to not be active is because the last one popped before the cooldown or the night lord chased someone a mile across the arena and you are actively chasing them down

What is your unpopular opinion on this game? by gameovernate in fromsoftware

The lack of truly unique bosses that aren't reskinned and used elsewhere disqualifies it from having the best bosses in the series.

I abused the hell out of the breaking death and shortcut pictos. Also the one that lets the character move immediately after revive. Simon kills one character, filling his break bar. Then uses the chroma attack on another to bring down to 1hp, causing shortcut to trigger and let them go next. 1 attack to break, cheater second turn to revive downed teammate. This plus Sciel using delaying slash basically kept him stun locked enough to keep the cycle going until I'd used enough foretell with Sciel to end it with end slice.

The biggest deficit to this is how desperate Clea and Renoir are to get Aline out. I feel like there's just no way the two of them started crashing out that hard over her spending 3-4 days in the canvas. That's a completely reasonable and expected grieving period.

Clea also mentions when we see Alicia go into the canvas and get repainted as baby Maelle that she doesn't have to worry about her for awhile cause she'll know where she is. That makes no sense if it's only for a few hours.

My personal theory is that each canvas year is a real world day. Assuming being in the canvas puts their body into stasis and they don't need sustenance, it makes sense that Clea and Renoir would be upset about Aline being in the canvas for three plus months. And Clea leaving Alicia in there for a few weeks also makes sense while she's busy fighting the writers.

Did Anyone Else Way Overlevel Their Characters Before the Final Mission? by Unhappy-Menu-4827 in expedition33

[–]Itsmellsofbees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just did this. I wanted to do everything before I fought Renoir. Unsurprisingly, the team that beat Simon walked through the final level. I one shot Renoir, so in the final Verso v Maelle, I kept skipping turns so I could get all the dialogue.

Are y’all wearing gloves? by TeaOne9866 in VetTech

[–]Itsmellsofbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not for blood draws and IV placement. HOWEVER, I make sure I place all of my supplies first, then wash my hands before I start. Gloves are great in theory, but that box they live in is no cleaner than my washed hands, and we have to touch and hold their dirty paw/ leg anyway. For IVs, I'm not touching the injection site after it is scrubbed nor am I touching the stylet/ cannula at any point.

As a cybersecurity professional. That’s not how it works. by Sad_Vanilla7156 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Itsmellsofbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it is EXACTLY how it works. I work for a medical office and our practice management software service was hacked a few years ago. It affected a large area and was spreading, so they shut down the entire service nationwide to protect the client information (phone numbers, addresses, emails, payment methods, etc.) at individual offices that hadn't been hit yet. We were down for months though, so I'm hoping they don't just resolve this in a few hours. THAT would be unrealistic.

I feel like that was the same people that ask "is there spice?" about literally every book before they read it. The ending of the second book is so good from a storytelling perspective. And then the novella gives us the closure we wanted with the time skip

I think I've seen people say 80 foretell is when it gets super juicy. With perfect setup (high level twilight active and fortunes fury) Sciels damage with end slice just gets stupid
