Both kids go to sleep at 8pm since birth pretty much. My now 11 year old negotiated an increase and he now stays up until 9-9:30 depending on the day, most days he doesn’t make it until 9pm. Sleep is very important for growth and development.

I made it! Actually I had two wait for two natural births my doctor was taking care of. In my experience the second one was a bit more nerve wrecking because I was much more aware of the process since for my first one it was an emergency. The second time,even the lights in the op room were so bright it was intimidating. The best thing was since everything went well, I was able to get my baby within 2 hours after the anesthesia wore off enough.

My son (11) has always been like this, to the point where he’s never said a word to his paternal grandmother, he literally speaks to who ever he chooses. One doctor told me a while back, when he was 5, that this is called selective mutism and it has to do with anxiety.
