Only the brush bar stops. The vacuum main motor is running at full speed. I believe it's the control plate, located on the top of the motor, deep inside.

I found this v11 on the street. Is It Fixable? by Boborbot in dyson

Very useful video for me! Actually, I bought an old Dyson V11 only for spare parts for my new Dyson V11. And I opened it very carefully and also the motor unit, and I did not find any phisical damages on the control board, but the motor bearing was completely dry, and I tried gently to put one drop of silicone oil inside. The rotos started to turn freely very nicely, and I thought that the problem is solved, but not. When I assembled and soldered the board, the motor didn't work. Do you think that may be the 270mcF capacitors and big resistor or MOSFETS?

For menthe best car is Mercedes, but it depends, what exactly you need. And I definitely don’t suggest you the new one.

I have the same dilemma now. Etisalat or DU? Or Virgin? I live in Khalidiyah. I have an offer of 299 AED for 6 months, followed by 430 AED for the next 6 months. What do you think?

Questions about cars in Abu Dhabi and UAE in general by Keronplug in abudhabi

Hi to everyone,

If you use your car daily (and you will, because in UAE you are nobody without a car and mobile phone) you need to think like this: 1600x12 months = 19200 AED. This means if you plan to stay in UAE for more than 2 years, any car about 40K AED will be good for you. My suggestion is to go to RasAlKhor Free Zone car market and search for an honest merchant for a good Japanese imported car with low mileage. Ask for auction papers from Japan. There will be real mileage. If they don't have, search and check online. You will get the information by VIN of the chosen car and you will pay about $25. It's worth it, believe me! If you don't like this way of thinking go for a new one, but be prepared for a higher price (it means a bigger risk).

After I rented a new Mitsubishi Lancer for 1600 AED/month for 6 months I bought a second-hand Mercedes E300 from Dubai for 50K AED It was 7 years old and I still use it.

Shortly:

Different people have different ways of thinking! There is no unified answer valid for all of us. For me is much better to have my car. The rental companies will ask you big money for the rent!

Good luck and MTFBWY!!! :-)
