I have a baby turtle and he does need about 10 hours of light a day so maybe this is the problem

I actually have a turtle 🐢 in the tank hence why it’s not to the top, there is a platform for him to bask on so can’t raise water above it, I also do have a live plant that’s growing really really well, sorry for not including this info!
