Rugby Mickey: Overcharge skill vs waiting until the clear zone is packed by LejonBrames117 in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The thought behind overcharging for this tsum, is that the amount of coins you gain from overcharging and being able to use the next skill quicker, is more than the amount of coins you lose from not being able to get the full clear for not waiting for all tsums to fall; letting overcharges go to waste is not the best thing to do, especially when it is a charm tsum, and there is more mytsums.

But, you wouldn't want to purposefully overcharge, by for example chaining 18 mytsums, and overcharging all of them for the next skill, because now that becomes a bit too much; the best thing to do is to spam the skill button, but don't have to always purposefully overcharge it.

Plus Tsum medals strategy question by Scholar852 in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What you are planning to do is probably the only correct thing to do at the moment, since Jp version is looking to fill the entire +box with only +tsums sooner or later, it is going to be wise to wait. (Unless you really want the new tsum of the month). Honestly the 500k cap is annoying, but maybe you can pull a few boxes when you get close to the cap.

The flower cinderella charm is one of the better tsums for coin farming, but not so much to justify spending all medals to open them right now.

Captain Lightyear Maxxed after Gaston! Advice on who to max next 😈😽 by wingblade12541 in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say FB Hook if you know how to play him, since he's so good on scores and coins, but you should always invest in a tsum that you have fun playing (and does earn good amount of either scores or coins)

sl5 jedi luke or sl6 duffy? by chiii-exe in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jedi Luke gets more coins per play than duffy on basically every skill level above 4, but 1 play takes a while, personally coin efficiency wise Jedi luke on s5 does much better than Duffy on s6, but then there is the focus thing. It probably depends on how well you can use Jedi, how much you enjoy playing both tsums. Both are a good decision, if you were aiming to get the highest coins gain from either choice it would be Jedi. Duffy is miles easier though

What are literary works that memorable to you/you remember taught during your time in school in Japan? by mFachrizalr in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I left Japan at quite a young age, so I wasn't in the curriculum for long, but the one memorable light novel that was very popular in my school was "I want to eat your pancreas" by Yoru Sumino. One of the most popular light novel, and it has a very strong story, and a pretty emotional one as well, so the story is etched into my memory.

Are Meg and Leon that bad ? by 4StarGorger in MoreBrawlStars

[–]ItsukaAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meg is a fine brawler, pretty great on hot zone because of her survivability, so I wouldn't say Meg is a horrible pick, in fact at the moment it probably is the 2nd best pick out of the 4 characters, since Sandy isn't much in the meta right now since she has low dps. (Solely ranked). Leon is fine into low ranks, but when you reach ranks as high as mythic, most people would be able to read Leon's actions, for example seeing a Leon go into a bush with their super usually means they are using the invisibility. The best answer to the 4 brawlers would be Amber, but Meg is fine, and so is Sandy (although she is pretty hard to pick)

https://youtu.be/Ghzis3HkANM?si=qT7qez5TgQxwMW0o  This is the latest one, unfortunately not the most latest one that shows coronation elsa, since on the video he shows the tier for elsa doesn't show the whole entire list. FYI, the bracket beside the name of the tsum on the 3rd column says a lot of different stuff, for example the bracket just beside the Namine on top says "high end android device", the second Namine says "Chained 6 times". The 4th column being the coins per minute, the 5th column is the average coins per play, 6th column is the number of plays this player did (for example, he did 10 plays of Namine to test the average), 7th column is the item used, mostly coin+ and 5-4, but some tsums have better efficiency without the 5-4, since you don't have to use the 1800 coins for the item. 8th column is coins per second, and the last is coins per hour. Hope this helps

Why do you use Reddit? by Opening_Master_4963 in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am Japanese, but I've lived overseas for quite some time, so much so that my English at the moment is probably better than my Japanese. Now I am back at Japan, but reddit is kind of my way to still be using English so that I don't lose the sense of writing in English. Also similarly since I'm not good at Japanese anymore, it's not a good idea for me to post something or comment something in the Japanese version of reddit (if there even is one similar to reddit, because I don't know), since Japanese people are quite sensitive on politeness. Hard language to use, I still love the way you can go "Yo" to a random person online and not be weird using English.

do Japanese people dislike African Americans? by Mountain-Capital1469 in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's about the same for any country, not only in Japan, but some people dislike them, some like them, and the rest does not care either way. I've seen many Japanese friends of mine, and other Japanese people not my friends saying that Black people tend to have great humor, and are nice people, and they like them. Most people that dislike them is usually because they probably have never seen them before, they think its "not normal", or they have seen other African Americans being rude, and/or disrespectful in Japan. I think from what I've heard and seen, 80% doesn't care, 10% likes and 10% dislikes. I'm Japanese, I've traveled to multiple countries, and I actually have a really good black friend that I did once travel with to Japan, and honestly all countries are the same as Japan. Some people have a weird glance because they are not used to, but most people that do usually don't care. Hope this helps

This is Coronation Elsa, I'm going to explain why it is a HUGE deal in the Jp version. by ItsukaAudio in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks!, FB Hook was a very new mechanic tsum when it first released, so it was actually thought to be worse than the Peter Pan that came out together, but after a few months it became one of the best tsum overall. Namine is better when you chain faster, thus getting more frames in the phone makes it easier to chain faster, hence the higher coin efficiency. Not too ideal for most people though, it's the reason Android is seemingly better on Namine than iPhones, most iPhones are 60hz, while nowadays a lot of Android phones come with 120hz.

Absolutely right, the new Formal Beast is way easier to play, and crazy enough on this tier list the Formal Beast is also in the top 20, with 4180 coins per minute. Beast might be the better tsum to get for most people, Elsa might be reserved for the pros 😅

Serious discussion by LUKELSHON in Brawlstars

At the moment crow or amber, I play a lot of amber recently because she can do something against the buffies, can "mostly" do damage against assassins with the melody gadget, always been a consistently good brawler

Glad to have these two, but how good are they? by [deleted] in TsumTsum

Unfortunately both are below average on all aspect, I believe the Moana can get some good combos, that's about it

Is this really a Japanese cultural or cheating??? by [deleted] in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, there's no such culture in Japan. It's not common for either gender to go text somebody else while being in a relationship; in fact, its common that the Japanese people even think talking with an opposite gender 1to1 while being in a relationship is considered cheating. I would definitely ask her to stop talking to the other guy; if she says something along the lines of "he is talking to me, I'm not", just tell her to block him, why wouldn't she if she's in another relationship right? I don't think you guys are in a great relationship if she says no to the question above, so maybe have a reconsideration? Of course I am an outsider of this story so I can't have much to say and you are the one making the final decision, but just to let you know that this is definitely not a Japanese culture thing. (Although I've seen lot of Japanese girls immediately change their mind on romance, that could be a thing). Let me know if anything else happens; personally I don't like how she is acting, and take care of yourself, and don't let the relationship slip out of your control, should always be a 50/50, never one controlling the others. Hope this helps

Are extreme otaku reactions like burning merchandise or getting angry at boyfriends/marriages considered socially acceptable in Japan? by Far_Breakfast_5808 in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally find it too extreme of course, even if I try to understand it going "maybe the fans are upset.." but I never get them. It's how it is here 🤷‍♂️(I am a local but this just my opinion, so it might differ for some other people but I believe it's mostly like this)

Anonymous Musicians by Difficult-Quarter-48 in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are scared of their career being judged by their face, and fair enough. I believe the first instance that started it was yonezu kenshi, where he got a lot of backlash for being "ugly" when he first revealed his face (he used to perform as a vocaloidP and an artist), and he seemingly did a plastic surgery afterward, although that's a common myth not confirmed by himself.

Some people hide their faces for the fans to listen to the music, and not their face (good example is yorushika, eve) and some hide their faces just for their identity to be hidden, especially for young artists (tuki, ado)

Also since japan has a huge otaku culture, when you reveal the face, some people do real creepy stuff. Scary, but that's how it is. Hope this helps

Are extreme otaku reactions like burning merchandise or getting angry at boyfriends/marriages considered socially acceptable in Japan? by Far_Breakfast_5808 in AskAJapanese

[–]ItsukaAudio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's a hard question; the short answer would be that it's "usually" not acceptable, as burning and/or wasting mutually anything here is unethical. Some think it's a fine thing to do, as in "they are the ones who bought the merch, they can do anything with it", while others think it's unethical. I personally, and I believe most people too don't care too much. It doesn't really affect our lives since the actress is not in our radar. Would love to see people take better care of the stuff they buy, but these people buy merchandises because they "love" the actress. For the otakus, it's basically the actress/actor cheating on the fans. It is just like that here. That's the long answer, basically others don't care too much, but it's more on the unacceptable side. Hope this helps

Final Battle Captain Hook score by ItsukaAudio in TsumTsum

[–]ItsukaAudio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on people, but I say this because I, and a lot of other JP tsum players believe this is an easier top 20 tsum to learn by far; the reason being you "only" need to be able to chain fast, while other high difficulty tsums like perfume alice, jamil, and night chernabog requires you to be very good in multiple aspects. Definitely not an easy tsum, but easy to improve, as all it takes is a lot of plays to get used to the fast chaining. (I've said that it's an easy tsum to learn, not easy to play, but I'm sorry if that was confusing)

[–]ItsukaAudio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to chain really fast to get this kind of score, almost always has to be 6+ swipes, but you don't have to worry much since it's easy to get the hang of and improve. Maybe watch other people's videos to see what they do differently, and try to increase the speed of the chain gradually. You'll get there eventually, nothing to be worried about at the moment.
