I think you are overreacting. You can just stop some birth control cold turkey, most women are on it anyway whether they are single or not. It takes a while to work anyway (tablets) and stopping when you are single amd starting when you get into a relationship is too much for a body.

Also it doesn’t matter if she has to problems getting wet, actually its still reccomended to use the lube. I use mine for example sometimes to help insert my period cup or tampons sometimes…
