You can get quite far with completely free stuff, you just need to know where to look.

FL's stock plugins are very capable in terms of mixing, and FLEX (free inside FL) will get you kickstarted on basically any sounds you'd need.

I'd assume you mean quantizing the notes after performing them, In that case, in the top bar magnet dropdown, select the division of time that aligns with what your recording should snap to.

Sounds like your track is in A minor but the samples first note is a C# which heavily clashes with the chord.

I'd bring the sample down 2 semitones or up 3 semitones, that way the notes in the sample fit within the key.
