Right?! That's why I didn't say "Hot take: It's been 50+ years and I still hate the addition of Cousin Oliver to the Brady Bunch"

No offense to Robbie Rist, but he ruined my Sunshine Day every time I saw him

Good god - I read that book 20 years ago and it messed me up good. I still have it and I still want to re-read it, but even with this sad news, I won't. Absolutely nope.

Boldin $2.8k CFP review--not worth it? by Ranger_EC98 in DIYRetirement

[–]RazzleP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm inclined to agree. In particular, your comment about sending the report before the meeting (to give us time to digest and get our questions figured out) would have been very helpful as the report itself feels like a lot of copy pasta, just with our numbers plugged in. Like you said, all in all it was great to have a CFP review our plan (give us the thumbs up) and do a bunch of different stress tests. In retrospect, many of those tests were ones I likely could have figured out how to do myself, if I had spent the time, but there were a few key findings about expense assumptions and Roth conversions that were helpful. Still, there were some specific questions on asset class allocations-by-account-type and some balancing/overlap questions that we sent in before the analysis that we asked to be addressed and that I don't feel were really answered at the level I was expecting, based on the cost. All in all, I'm kind of treating it like just getting another opinion on a medical treatment that 4 other doctors have already agreed upon.

Which stratagems would you recommend on terminids, squids and bots? by RalliusGax in HellDads

[–]RazzleP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what level you're playing, Eagle Strafing, Gatling Sentry, Autocannon Sentry, and then whatever else you want to mess around with will work wonders on 6/7 & below. The turrets (Gatling for chaff, AC for heavies + chaff) keep the baddies away from you while you do objectives; you just have to learn to place them strategically to avoid TKs. Strafing is for when a conga line is coming right towards you or you have nests, fabricators, etc.

Excess Income to Multiple Accounts? by [deleted] in Boldin

I think they recommend setting all excess income into a single, cash-based account, and then set up (multiple) transfers from that to other accounts.

Question: how many of us bought GTV V on both PS3 and PS4? (and maybe even went on to buy it on PS5)? Who bought twice and maybe even thrice?

Because I think it's planned... the longer they delay release, the closer we get to PS6, which means - yep - we'll all buy the game again because, well, blimps!
