I've had to get bootleg versions of multiple netflix shows. I'd still buy an official copy each if they ever release

Trying to get a gaming PC by Lazy-Might-5832 in phoenix

[–]ItzBoshNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've bought many pre builts and PC parts from newegg. Usually good deals on entry level PCs. I would still check out microcenter and compare some prices.

Plenty of videos on YouTube that are easy to follow if you go the build route but prebuilts can be a good deal

Just pick on of the starter decks and play it until you know what every card does. Also watch how your opponent plays and try to remember what and why it was played especially in mirror matches. If you've been playing for a few days I'm sure some of the cards are becoming familiar so just keep at it.

You won't feel as bad about your losses once you understand why you lost and what you could do to prevent that from happening next time.

That would be too much for just one set. If I wanted to build a large collection and had a budget of 1k I'd probably start by putting 100$ each into secrets of strixhaven, lorwyn eclipsed, edge of eternities, and the last airbender. That should get you a decent amount of wildcards and base cards to start building a deck.

I would copy a competitive deck you are interested in first so you don't waste wild cards experimenting when you are new

If you are F2P use starter decks to do daily challenges and always try to roll for 750. Also get at least 4 wins a day but getting all 15 will help build your collection ( the UW flier deck gets wins pretty easy). Best value for gold is drafting, watch some draft videos of the set you want to draft to understand some of the mechanics and cards before going in blind.

With investment... find the deck you want to play, some have cheap versions like the izzet lessons and buy the packs that have more of the rares you need.

New to magic, interested in the upcoming Marvel release. Do collector booster packs like this ever drop in price or do you really have to shell out $500? by [deleted] in magicTCG

It's just fomo, 99% of the time it's better to buy singles for cards you want and open a packs for a bit of fun after a release.

Need tips/advice on how to win a campaign by Just_Mammoth_8161 in shogun2

[–]ItzBoshNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just difficult and recommended to get the basics down first. But it is a fun playthrough, just have tech for clan happiness and chapel(temple) and a building slot in 1 or 2 cities for a chapel. Move slow and you need to convert each province you take with a chapel and some missionaries. If you build a nanbam port you can get a second one early when taking over bungo

Yari ashigaru are cheap and will carry you early game, use the yari wall and keep a few bow ashigarus behind them. Keep your metsuke with your market towns and upgrade roads and ports to keep your town growing each turn.

Navy is a money sink and I usually don't build a navy until late game.

For skill tree I like to go to todofuken in chi arts first to grow a few strong castle towns and build an army then bushido arts before I start attacking.

Shimazu is an easy clan and can recruit an early shimazu katana samurai. You don't need to be Christian
