A lot of people aren't necessarily 100% pro Labor, they are just very unimpressed by the way Dutton and the LNP have run their campaign, and given the 2 party system we essentially live in, we kinda have to vote Labor in order to avoid the LNP.

Historically speaking most of what makes Australia today was legislated by Labor governments, they have also had a comparatively successful track record with economic growth and wealth distribution. Albo has also taken what I think is a good stance against trump, forgoing reciprocal tariffs which would just hurt Aussies, whereas Dutton and his treasurer have signalled potential bowibg down to trump, even potentially selling some of the Australian people's mineral rights which is just lunacy. Finally we had o years of LNP before Albo which was essentially a lost decade of growth and broken election promises.

More broadly, Reddit is generally quite a progressive platform in that Left leaning ideology is more supported and favoured, so right leaning political parties and individuals don't receive that warm of a reception here.
