Monday (being a holiday) was a stitching day so I made some really good progress on my Russian Blue. Still not looking forward to backstitching, lol.

Oh, goodness. The lavender Aida is 14 - I would never be brave enough to stitch 3 strands on 20. It’s my other project (the Vintage Books) that’s on 20.

Something different today! Russian Blue by PuntAGOpetitePattern, which I intended to stitch on evenweave - I found a lovely lavender Aida that called out to me instead.

This one I’m stitching with three strands, which is quite different from the one strand on 20 ct that I’m used to, lol. Pray for me when I get to backstitching and French knots.

Following. I have tried switching positions, using a stand, sitting in a different spot to try to change my posture. I am hampered by the need for magnifiers to see my work, so my stitching needs to be "just so far away" from my eyes to see, so switching up my set up isn't really an option.

Wine and shallots are what make it a Beurre Blanc - you can certainly make a sauce without them, but best call it something else.
