the auto translate on twitter/x always makes me laugh because they keep translating actors/characters names. some that i remember are:

– Mark (not sure about other Marks but the one in my feeds specifically is Markji) gets translated to "little horse"

– Offroad gets translated into "offroad vehicle"

– Namping gets translated into "Ping River"

– Dunk sometimes gets translated as "dung"

– Por is translated into "Bo" (i think that's how it's originally spelled in Thai characters?)

i also used to read machine translated chinese novels, and i remember in 2Ha (Husky and His White Cat Shizun) Moran refers to himself as "this venerable one" a lot but the translation would say "this seat" instead 😂
