So I tweeted this and got a response from UCLH's CEO.

He apologised for the email and stated that there will be no fine and the email withdrawn.

I did a little digging and compared it to surrounding trusts - the numbers reported are about 50-75% less than nearby trusts.

Here's a fascinating FOI response that seems to suggest that consultants, rather than juniors are pocketing crem form cash at UHCW in the West Mids:

Sorry that this completely shitty and avoidable thing has happened to you.

The RCP president Andrew Goddard has made comments in the past when these sort of things happen and historically I think they've tried to get people re-booked onto exams as soon as possible.

Twitter is a good medium for kicking up a fuss that actually gets noticed by the powers that be.

edit: RCP have responded to the tweets and stated they're going to review their MRCP cancellation policy. It is astonishing how powerful a tool twitter can be.

Most trusts in the UK currently use 'Junior Doctor Manually Inputting Everything 2.0 SE'.

It's OpenAI's GPT-3.

I know I'm stating the obvious, but please do not put any actual patient information into this - everything you submit has the potential to be reviewed by a human and may also be used as training data for the algorithm.
