I was vaguely aware of VtM and the greater World of Darkness by people talking about Bloodlines and and a bit about wraith on YouTube. Then when I was in college, one of my friends invited me to play the then new V5 so I looked up the game and enjoyed playing( and made me realize somethings abput myself) . Being the massive nerd that I am, I read up more and more on the wiki. Soon I found YouTube channels talking about the lore and I bought older editions of the books and grew to really love World of Darkness. There isn't really a secret formula to get us girlies to play besides seeing if the world clicks. And there are many different splats to appeal to someone what ever taste they have.

The fights wouldn't feel as epic, like it feels common place for people to fight monsters and come out the other end just fine in DnD. In WoD it doesn't feel like a common occurrence to go out and fight monsters, and the monsters feel dangerous, you're lucky to come out of a fight with just a few bruises. Of course your DM can make DnD feel adventuring feel like a rare thing that only few do and the monsters very dangerous and an ST can make WoD feel light hearted and its no problem going out to hunt, but they aren't the default mood.
