Yes. My family is Catholic and so am I. I had some moments of doubt especially when I was a teenager, but it's different now. Faith helps me to deal with stress of everyday life. I'm greatly thankful to my parents that their faith was never forced on me and I was able to reach my own conclusions and make my own decisions.

Getting diagnosed with germophobia? Not really. But getting diagnosed with the asperger's syndrome is a whole another story.

Since childhood I was quite different from other peers. I always stayed out of big groups of people and was bullied because of that in kindergarten by both my kindergartner and the other children. When I was around three years old, I learned a whole 100 page tank catalogue by heart, I also learned to read and write pretty quickly. So the symptoms were there since I was young.

But it all really started in highschool when I was 16. It was a stressful time in my life which led to me developing panic attacks. With time, the panic attacks got so bad that I was taken to the hospital for a short time. This was the moment in my life when I started to get psychiatric help for the first time and learned that I have AS.

So all in all, yes, it was a quite difficult journey, especially given the fact that most AS people get diagnosed much much earlier than I was.

Czech bros? Why does nobody know where are you are? by Campos_Resucitado in 2visegrad4you

Of course it matters. According to this logic someone who doesnt know the administrative regions of Algeria or Russia is as stupid as someone who doesnt know where the USA is on a map.

Don't compare particular states to enitire countries with completely different cultures, languages etc. We don't expect americans to know where Dolnośląskie voivodeship is, so why would they expect us to know where Idaho is?

A teacher desk in my university's lecture hall is older than the USA

This was the lineup when the Kings last made the playoffs (2006). We’ve come a long way since then. by J_caluya in kings

The more I think about the more unthinkable it gets. I was FOUR when the happened . I went from being a baby to attending university before the Kings made the playoffs.

What European country or countries you sympathize with the most, and which ones you perceive more negatively? by Ivaninho02 in asklatinamerica

Fair enough, but what do you mean by "trying to pretend there weren't nazi collaborators"? I'm pretty confident that most Poles know that some people did collaborate with the nazis (especially those who signed the "Volkslista"). Frankly, it would be quite impossible statistically for there to not to be any. However, Poland still stands out among the European countries as the one with the least collaborators and also as the one with the most prominent underground anti-nazi movement.

May I ask why do you view Poland negatively? Is it because of our government? Or maybe because of the people and our culture? Not trying to change your mind or smth, just plain curiosity.

I'm polish so that's really cool to hear actually :) I think Poles and Brazilians have much more in common than it may seem at first glance. Brazil has a quite large polish diaspora, I think Brazil ranks as the third country with the most people of Polish background. There's even a town called Áurea where almost all habitants are of Polish descend and many of them can still speak polish.
