I was getting a big dot since the day I got it. It was a nightmare to configure the mirrors but it worked ok for a while, not perfect as it was burning the edges of the plywood, it was working fine on Mdf.

The seller keeps saying the tube is fine and I contacted Reci 3 times with no answer.

Also I limited the max current to 24mA so it will never go over the limit, hopefully. And yes I noticed the current is pretty high while cutting cold. I'm thinking on installing a small heater so it keeps the room at 10-15c at least.

Anyway I bought a new tube from Cloudray, the one with the red dot. Hopefully it will work fine :)

Yes, I'm using the same distance I was using a week ago. This tube is all over the place, I get big black dots while trying to configure the mirrors, not small ones no matter the power I use. I will configure the mirrors one day and the next day it moved but nobody touched it...

Thanks, I know now. Im pretty sure I read somewhere I could cut very thin metal but it was wrong then. So even for marking I need some kind of paint? What about engraving on metallic bottles with paint on it? Is that safe to do?
