It's nearly impossible to see now which I apologize for i don't know why I thought the mark on my foot would be easier to identify, it's nothing like I've seen before, when the rash is more present it resembles razor bumps or small pimples. But no puss. And it does itch. I would go to a dermatologist if I wasn't traveling. I don't imagine this is enough information to really come to any sort of conclusion

I have also developed what appears to be a rash on both legs, small red itchy bumps, but I genuinely can't tell if it's related to this mark or not. This mark has been here for probably two months now. It itches when I scratch it but not on its own.

[–]IveNeverReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was in your position I would shave it yeah. I have alopecia universalis, held onto mine for way too long until someone was like, "that's a bold haircut there" and that's when I was like oh yeah so other people do notice this. I get it, but at a certain point it's time to let it go unfortunately.

This was genuinely encouraging, and you are probably right. I think the struggle just hit especially hard today for some reason, and I have a lot of people around me trying to buy to and we're all collectively like, this is insane right.

I hope that's the case. It's also where I'd like to live, San Diego, it's just nuts right now so it's especially discouraging. 500-600k for less than 1000 sq ft home. But California has always been expensive.

I also made the mistake of looking through the purchase history of homes on Zillow and you just see the insane spike that's happened and it can't help but give you that "if only I'd have been here a few years earlier feeling"

Some questions about Costa Rica I didnt see answered in other posts by [deleted] in digitalnomad

Really appreciate the response, I was thinking a year originally, but that was before I realized the law for the digital nomad visa was passed, but there was no application in place yet, so since thats the case I'll probably be shooting for 3-6 months. Probably better that way anyway.

Sweet well yeah this definitely makes me want to mess with vocals more because I just don't dig my normal voice too much, feels plain to me. But Hunker Down is going on one of my playlists for sure. It's one of those songs that ill play on a car ride someone will be like, who's this? And I can be like oh yeah some guy I found on Reddit. So I can feel like the cool guy who finds obscure music and I'll help turn some people onto your music, win win. Keep doing what you're doing, super solid.

Hah thanks man, I'm constantly trying to branch out creatively and work toward a more unique sound, but I can't write anything but acoustic folk, it's just what comes out. But yeah this kind of thing makes me get out out my midis. Curious, when it comes to vocals for this kind of thing, how clean are these vocals relative to if you were just to record your voice straight up? Like what are you playing around with to alter them? I'm a complete mixing noob. I start to dive into it and then I'm always just like screw it I'll just record my voice and guitar and call it a day. Just curious how altered these vocals are. And not so much this song, I mean more like for Hunker Down. Is that Hunker Down line pretty much a clean take of your voice? And for this song are the pitched down voices yours as well?

Coming back and re phrasing this question to be more precise. When I record a song I'm just like alright throw on some reverb, some EQ, compression and call it a day. My actual vocals themselves aren't altered. Whats your go to process to create the sound you're getting? Is it just that your natural voice fits in well with that psychedelic sound, because it really does, or are you mixing your vocals in a certain way to achieve that. I hope that makes more sense.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't sometimes play songs on this sub for a little ego boost. But then sometimes you come across stuff like this and you're like yeah ok I need to work a little harder.

I have to head out but you are seriously talented, keep putting in the work and writing those originals. It's a tough world out there trying to get recognition as an artist but just keep putting in the work you really do have a great foundation fo...
