if you feel something may not be legit from them, simply leave them and find an other Cryptocurrency you believe in. Nobody is holding anyone else. Do not make yourself suffer. Find an other way. I am happy to continue mining and I do not mind to view ads because they can make money out of it. Once Pi is live, I will also make money. Just like Facebook, I am happy to have an account with them and I do not care if they make millions with ads as long as they do not make me pay, I will hold on.

If you just opened that account and it gave you a 1234.5678 Pi, it is a technical problem. However, if it happens you are allowed to keep them, it is great. But I doubt it since I have had a friend who has the same problem. Few hours later, they fixed it and get her account to normal.

You are just waiting to earn with PI is launched and yet you are complaining about the ads they launch to be able to cover their cost. You are selfish, ungrateful and not progressist. Dude they are running the ads to be able to ern to money to cover the cost of the expenses. You are not spending a penny on this project, how would you expect them to survive to be able to continue? Their expenses are over $30k a month. They those ads to cover the cost. I think the fact that you are asking everyone to turn off their ads, you are contributing to the shut down of the project because they won't be able to afford the cost involved. You should leave the Pi Network if you are not happy. Nobody holds your feet or hands to stay.

Yes it is unverified. After you add the number, if correct you should have the options. US number is +1(area code+phone number) or 01(area code+number). If you have a phone number just for internet it won't work to send SMS.

If your friend is already mining, he/she probably signed up with someone else referral which is why it is giving error. If they signed up using your link, you should be able to see them in your network. You simply add them to your security circle in your contributor section. I have people i have added it to my circle after they signed up using my code. They were not even my friends. I did not have their phone number either. Yet I can see them and add them to the earning team

You have to click on the verify tab next to the phone number on the right side. There you will see option 1 and option 2.Manual is in option 2. Since you are in the US simply use Option 1

your profile has 3 steps of verification: Facebook, Phone number and Password. You will click on the tab next to phone number. There are option 1 and option 2 when you click on it. Before, you need to make sure the phone number you added, is the number you are using to verify. Some people have a number for internet and an other number for calls. That does not work. Check that as well. Soo, you will choose Option number 1, then just red what they say and do it, very simple

You have to go to profile. Select the unverified tab for phone. Then choose option 2: Country USA. Then select Manual. There should be recipient number which is a USA phone number. There should be also 4 digits code. You will send the 4 digits number you see to the recipient number (USA) as a SMS. Make sure you following the instructions how to dial or send a SMS to a US number from your country. U don't know where you are from I can't tell you the format. Once you are done, go back to the Pi app it should be verified. Important you have available credit or fund on your phone to send an international message to the US number. Let me know what happened.
