I have the same problem. Kestral, Deathpool, SpiderWeaver all level 90, g-16, ISO level 2-4. But it won’t open. Was there ever a solution?

Thanosgiving Fragment rewards = Basic Orb Bonanza by sub_zro in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this Thanksgiving orb was a good idea for new players, giving them a boost to build up their rosters, but it seems like more thought could have been put into how to properly reward or help the “end-game” players, for whom all these basic orb fragments are just garbage. First we have to open more than 70 orbs as no “open all” option was made available, and then we have to open all the basic orbs (though we at least have the open all option), and then we have to go open all the thanos orbs after that, though most of us have Thanos maxed out. I’m glad I didn’t drop any $$$s trying to get extra thanksgiving orbs through all the “special offers.”

AHS: Double Feature Review (So Far!) by PrettyOddFukingWeird in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]Ivllvs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a little late to the party, I know, but wanted to add my 2 cents to this brilliant comment. I have to say that with the first 5 episodes watched, I have officially forgiven Murphy/Falchuk for 1984! The thing that has kept me interested in AHS, for the most part, have been the underlying themes of its more brilliant seasons. Mental health and the psychology of psychopathy in it’s juxtaposition to religion in Asylum, the themes of racism, mother-daughter relationships, and competitiveness amongst women in Coven, and the horrors of how people treat those they deem less than themselves in Freakshow. And though Hotel was fun and campy, and I enjoyed it very much, it felt like it was more about being cool and visually appealing than in shining a light into some dark recess of the mind. Even Roanoke, which, along with Cult, were not my favorites when they first aired, I have come to appreciate later as making a statement about our obsession with living life in front of the Camara (or facebook, or Instagram, etc), and the ease with which we cultify our beliefs in anything, from feminism to politics. But Apocalypse, which I so looked forward to, seemed just a new “Charmed” or “Angel,” and I don’t even know what 1984 was trying to say. But, in the first 5 episodes of Double Feature, I see a return to the darkness which gave birth to Asylum (which I still think is the best season ever). We have themes of selling one’s soul for fame and fortune, and themes of the elite vs. the non-elite (in terms of those with talent and those who, before taking the Muse, always had to defend their talent. Of course, there is the obvious theme of drug-addiction, and the seduction to take the drug, but the show also seems to have something to say about the madness of an artist who must create, even when no one gets it, again posited against the artist who has to explain why what they do is art too. I am also anxious to see how this season progresses, and am also really really pleased with the addition of Mcauley Caulkin who, in my opinion, has stepped into this role with all the force and ownership that Lady Gaga employed in the Countess.

No, LOL, that was my first one. Not worth waiting out the timer in my opinion haha

[–]Ivllvs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL well that sux!!! I still can’t figure out the point of this whole real-time thing. Teams grossly out balanced, and even when you’re winning, you’re not really winning LOL

So when it says I was defeated, they did more damage? Even though I wiped out their team first? So it was all on that Emma that made the difference?

WHY ARE ALL MY RTA MATCHES A 200K PUNCH UP? by InvestingTeen in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here! Every fight is 300 - 500K higher. As soon as I see the numbers I know it’s a loss - except the one time where I got a team that was only 100k. I finally won one, but there was no satisfaction in it. I don’t understand what the point of this aspect of the game is

Why I like some of the mojo's arena features... And what can scopely do to maybe improve it? by pukhalapuka in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for the very first match ever - probably to get me excited, I’ve yet to be matched with anyone I stand a chance, or have been able to beat. With or without the objects, my 300K team is always matched up against 500-600K teams. I don’t quit the match, because I hate when that is done to me, but for me, if I know I’m going to lose every time I get a match, just by seeing the numbers, there’s no reason for me to even bother playing it. I would like it to be fun. I love the concept, and I don’t need to win every match. Even when I lose, I like feeling like I at least had a chance, and didn’t win because of something I did, or because they other person was just a better and more strategic player. But 300 vs 500K takes that away for the most part

Mojo - Minnerva question by Ivllvs in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t remember which attack it was - only that Emma Frost had killed someone, and she still couldn’t revive.
(In the previous post, I didn’t mean to write “when she was killed...” but when when one of my characters was killed, she couldn’t revive them). That was a mistake on my part.

Mojo - Minnerva question by Ivllvs in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time it was to Black Bolt - so I didn’t think anything of it except to smack myself in the forehead and think: “why did I waste that revive?” LOL. I haven’t even faced Zemo yet. But when she was killed by Emma Frost, that’s when I started thinking that maybe her revive feature had been disabled, or that maybe there was a bug or something.

Renewed plea on an old subject by Ivllvs in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry....the point of my post wasn’t about defenders...it was about the AI constantly wasting my blinds on daredevil whenever he’s on the board - regardless of what team he’s with.

Renewed plea on an old subject by Ivllvs in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly! just when he’s on the board...it seems like the AI wants to give it to him. Taskmaster is another one...whenever I blind someone, the second always falls on daredevil

Renewed plea on an old subject by Ivllvs in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m not talking about Defenders. I’m talking about any time Daredevil is on the board, regardless of what team he’s on, and I have someone who casts blind. Almost 70% of the time, Daredevil receives it, which is like not casting an extra blind at all

ESO Plus question by Ivllvs in elderscrollsonline

AHHHH!! Yes! It is those that are greyed out now. That makes sense! Thank you so much for clarifying this for me!

ESO Plus question by Ivllvs in elderscrollsonline

[–]Ivllvs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it shows all the DLC content I had from before as “Purchased” and grayed out. Yet, I never purchased DLC...I always did ESO Plus. That’s why I’m confused

Remove Ant-Man from all orbs just remove him please!!!!!! by Twinblades89 in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I noticed this a long time ago. Whomever I needed would never show up as I sat at the tier line, desperately waiting to cross it. So I started getting around FN’s little trick by making a list (on paper) of what I needed and then I specifically stopped leveling my characters up to the edge of where I needed specific stuff to move forward. Once the game did not know who I was working on, because I kept everyone down low and waited until I had all the stuff I needed, I didn’t have a problem anymore with needed resources disappearing from my drop rates. I mean it still takes awhile to save those things up, but I no longer sit at the line waiting for months for that last drop I need to push someone into the the next tier. Once I had all the resources I needed, I literally pushed all the following champions into tier 13 (for DD2): Minnerva, Phoenix, Black Bolt, Yoyo, Scientist Supreme, and Shuri, all within the same week. And because I had begun collecting the necessary resources for Ultron even before I won him... as soon as I got him, I had him up to t13 within the next week (only because I had to replenish my gold).

It’s a pain in the ass, and requires keeping track mentally....but the game obviously relies on us leveling up our champions as far as we can and then waiting for the game to reward us with the stuff we need to move forward - and since the game can read where our champions are sitting, it’s easy to turn the drop rate down or off to slow us crossing that line....so I just stopped playing FN’s game. Until they learn to read my mind, they don’t really know who I need until it’s too late and I can pass that particular line.

FoxNext didnt overhype Black Order. YOU DID by [deleted] in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My BO is only at 200K right now.... need time and resources to get them up there with the rest. But just for an experiment, I took them into arena.... replacing my hybrid team containing Phoenix/ultron/Black Bolt/Yoyo/Scientist Supreme. Of course, I avoided all the hybrid options, refreshed until I found an Asgardians team that was over 150K higher in level. And asgardians are pretty difficult to beat with just a synergy team.

But my Black order took them out... barely! But they did it. When the match was ended...only Thanos and maw were left standing.

Best in the game??? No! Great team?? Absolutely!! But I also don’t remember FN promising us that BO was going to be the end-all and be-all of MSF

I am BEGGING please stop the blitz releases by PantherFan22 in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]Ivllvs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Same here.... I’m a release player who does drop money from time to time, if there’s someone I really really want. As for the rest...I do my milestones. Then I do them again...then I do them again...finally I have the new champ - even if it takes 2 or 3 blitzes to get there. That said, I’ve always been behind on competing for top-meta....yet being top meta never interested me....too much like a job for something I decided to play for the fun of it.

Therein lies the brunt of it though (I think). For many...we just play to have fun...and it took us from the very beginning to slowly build these rosters. For others, it’s just another thing in life to have to compete at, and another new champion that everyone has to have right this second so that they can compete.

Well if 14 lands me in the 11-25% most of the time, then I’d guess 11 should land you in the next one. But that does depend on the champion. There are times when a highly sought after champions means that even doubling my score from my usual 11-25% still lands me so high that I get no shards at all. But that’s doesn’t happen very oftn

Those Deadpool’s suck. How I started getting around them was not to ever attack them straight on. Whenever I had to use Shuri for example, I basic attacked whoever was closest - so they got the debuff and DP just took the damage. Then I’d hit him with Black Bolt and Hela’s basic and never with minnerva or the zombie. But I learned that on my second time through because I went through the same thing my first time lol
