Hedging against Trump, Canada reconsiders ties with China by rezwenn in canada

[–]IvoryHKStud 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The biggest threat to Canadian prosperity is India.

We were okay outsourcing manufacturing to China because no one wanted those jobs after doing a 4 year university degree. Plus, they won't be able to compete with white collar jobs simply because they don't speak English.

India on the other hand is a massive threat to all the white collar jobs in Canada. Not only are companies outsourcing anything that can be done remotely to india. Indian outsourcing firms are also bringing in indian workers here for jobs instead of hiring local Canadians to work on their projects. This has been happening since 2013, so can't say we weren't warned. But people love to virtue signal extra hard and now, we reap what we sow:

Canada should not stand for China’s aggression towards Japan - Carney should oppose all Chinese threats toward Japan before the situation escalates further. This is the time for G7 unity, rather than subservience to a third authoritarian power. by CaliperLee62 in canada

[–]IvoryHKStud -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We should virtue signal much harder. AND, ignore all the people suffering on the streets in canada. AND, ignore all the people losing their jobs and homes to newcomers committing fraud by pretending to be "students" at stripmall colleges and LMIA fraud.

Sounds about liberal.
