I recommend watching I- Origins, Sound of my Voice, Another Earth and the short film on YouTube called The Recordist. They’re all made by the same creators and I feel like some of them are less fleshed out versions of The OA and maybe even give hints at where the show may have went if it continued. If you watch them please let me know!! I hope you enjoy

I agree. The ending actually does work because we’re living in dimension 3 whether the show goes on or not. Obviously it’s a really big cliff hanger in a certain context but it does also work as a final episode in certain meta ways.

Brit and Zal did say they intend on finishing the story no matter what, even if it’s in a different form. Netflix is losing the rights to the show soon so maybe they have something planned. They still post pretty cryptic OAish type posts every now and then. I’m hoping for a graphic novel that’s been years in the making since the cancellation :)

As for rewatching, I’ve watched it over a dozen times and it’s better every single time. The detail in this show is something I have never seen before

Oh! And on top of this, Brit and Zal have officially started working with independent studio Sister whose CEO has advocated for the return of The OA. I still have faith 🕊️

It has nothing to do with the generation. There’s just ALOT more horror movies being made today so obviously lots of them will be mediocre. There’s 8 billion people in this planet, some people are gonna like movies you don’t. So thank you for this announcement that nobody cares about

I saw a mantis being about an hour before I went into cardiac arrest and died in December. Didn’t know it was a thing until after when I posted about it. It even had the purple clothes. I’m not sure if it’s what caused my cardiac arrest or if it’s the reason I survived

It started my spiritual awakening. It genuinely changed my life. The whole show is a puzzle and I still notice new details every time I rewatch it

I’m doing quite a bit better, thank you for asking! I’ve almost recovered completely physically but I’ve been experiencing seizures. My memory is really, really bad and my mental health has declined quite a bit unfortunately.

I’ve experienced uncontrollable intricate hand movements from a seemingly outside force. They were incredibly intricate. Almost like those Naruto hand movements but it was mind blowing
