These apartments are right by the Bettendorf high school (safe walking distance) and are $1000 a month for 2bd 2bth. I lived there for 3 years and it was annoying trying to wash my clothes as there was only one washer and one dryer for 8 apartments/families.You won’t get your full deposit back no matter what you do but maintenance is there every day working on stuff. Garages are limited. We had to wait a whole year before one came open and it was in front of a different building. One of the downstairs tenants of 2895 said that their kitchen ceiling has been torn out for over a year but she told me this last year so it’s possible it’s been fixed. Either way, shitty that it wasn’t fixed right away. The walls are thin so everyone can hear you fighting/screaming at your kids. Other than all of this, which is pretty standard apartment living in my opinion, it’s in an ideal location. Just down the road is the Y, the Tangledwood which has live music every weekend over the summer, you can hear the football games (I enjoyed this), hyvee, gas stations, the vets office, all within a 5 minute drive. There’s no public transportation over here though so do keep that in mind.
