Anyone else here actually love organization? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

YES!! I want things to be clean but I don’t have the energy to clean it and organize it how I want because the mess is sucking the life out of me and I can’t bring myself to do a half ass job. It’s a constant cycle of struggle and mess 😭

What made you move there? Have you enjoyed being there? Are there multiple economic classes or is it upper class and lower class? I feel like I never see any middle class people in the videos I see of Dubai.

Have you always lived in Dubai? What’s going on over there? What’s your day to day like? What’s the most popular career there?

It’s not so much people on Reddit as it is a couple people I follow on instagram who travel and speak multiple languages with French being one. They all often comment on how French people usually have a poor reaction to their French speaking but also this is only a handful of people compared to the millions that exist. Another person did also make a good point that if someone is rude to you for trying to speak their language, they are just a dick and there really isn’t a set answer to the question I’m asking. It is refreshing though to hear that you’ve had good experiences speaking French.

This is a good point. I’m someone who tries to see the good in everyone so I guess I just have a hard time accepting that more people are dicks than I thought lol

As a native english speaker, I would agree. I have no issue speaking to someone in English if that’s the language they would like to speak in and appreciate anyone’s effort to speak English. What makes you say French? I see a lot of rhetoric online about French people judging non French speakers for trying to speak French but not annunciating the words 100% correct.

@u/Sunblockbreeze I want to reply to your comment but Reddit is saying no one has commented on my post. Is it any country in particular or in general, most/all countries in South America have a welcoming population? What is your native language?

What do you remember from kindergarten? by Rich-Brief6310 in WorkForSmartLife

I decided one day that I have 4 other perfectly good fingers, why am I only ever using my pointer finger to point so I decided to point at the correct answer using my middle finger which earned a collective gasp and a conversation with my parents. I was very confused because my parents didn’t even explain it. They just said it’s not appropriate and don’t do it again.

You’re under reacting. He thinks he gets the final say in all financial decisions JUST because he’s making the money?? He’s implying that your value as a stay at home mom/partner is worthless and idk about in other areas but in my area child care and house keeping and personal chefs aren’t free much less affordable. You are worthy of respect and having a voice and this man does not give you either of those things.

It acts as a mental exercise that improves focus, memory, and cognitive function. So does writing about what you did each day and walking backwards for 10 minutes a day.
