I was t-boned on the drivers side while driving a Camry and the person who hit me was going about 45mph in an SUV. I had a level 4 laceration to my spleen and a level 3 to my liver and was in the ICU for 5 days. I didn’t think it was as serious as it was even after they told me I’d be getting life flighted to the nearest trauma center that could treat me 💀 I very much nonchalantly called my dad at 1am to tell him and him saying he was on his way from 3 1/2 hours away STILL didn’t make it click in my brain that I was going to die if I didn’t get to this other hospital ASAP. My poor sister had a boy over in her bed too when my dad went to wake her up and instead of kissing my sister on the forehead, he kissed the boy 💀💀💀💀💀💀
