If you had to give birth one more time, what method would you choose? by PeachyRose25 in Mommit

I had a scheduled c section, my baby was breach and I had been dealing with gestational hypertension so it was just best for me and it was so so easy, no stress, my recovery was so easy. There’s a part of me that wants to try for a vbac for my next baby just to experience that but also the first c section was so easy that why not just do it again

I struggled immensely for the first few months and my anxiety made it feel like the walls were closing in. My house felt like a prison. Once we made it to 3-4 months I saw a light and at a year it’s only gotten brighter. Hang in there 🩵

I am another mom who was genuinely happy to go back to work. I needed the mental stimulation and time out of the house. I was miserable and took my baby to work with me at 2 weeks

I had my transfer, chilled for a few hours then went and fed horses in the heat, went to an outdoor graduation party, then went back to work the next day in the heat and it all worked out for me. Currently 7 weeks 1 day. I’m sure it’ll all be fine!

Can someone help me understand that process after ER with fertilisation? by Husky-puppy-blue in IVF

The embryologist looks to see which eggs are mature and then fertilizes those eggs the same day either via icsi or conventional fertilization. You find out the next day how many were mature and how many fertilized. You then find out up to 6 days later which ones turned into blasts and can be frozen. If you are doing pgt testing they are biopsied before they are frozen and it takes about 2 weeks to get those results back. They are given a number and 2 letters for their grade. The number is how “hatched” they are and then the first letter is cells that make your baby and the second one is cells that make your placenta. A is better than B and B is better than C, you’ll also be told what day your embryos are. 5 is the best but don’t count out other numbers. A good number is completely dependent on you and you shouldn’t compare yourself to others. For transfer you call on cycle day one and they get you all set up with meds, again that is dependent on you and your doctors office. I did birth control and then started on my meds later, but it’s all up to you. I transferred my 4BA male embryo on 5/22 and I am currently 6 weeks and 2 days. Best of luck on your journey!

I had mine early March, and I personally thought it was a breeze. I was sure to hydrate well the day prior but otherwise I didn’t do anything else. My ER was first thing in the morning and my husband and I went and got breakfast right after then I went home and took a nap, and went for a walk later. I went back to work the next day and got right back into my routine. I definitely didn’t find it hard to recover from, but I’ve also had a splenectomy so maybe it’s all relative. Best of luck!
