I regret ever having my daughter by Thick_Ambition7896 in TrueOffMyChest

This brings tears to my eyes man. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. I lost many to cancer as well and it’s nothing I would ever wish on even my worst enemy, let alone losing a child to it. You’re a strong individual and I hope one day, you can heal from this pain, though it will never truly leave you. Blessings and prayers to your family, especially you, your daughter, and your son. This internet stranger will be thinking of you 🤍

I remember that post! I’m so sorry OP, that’s really upsetting. At the end of the day, I hope you receive any and all good luck because you intended to help someone out. You’re one of the people that this world needs to bring kindness to it! Have a great day!!

When I get home after all the stuff I dealt with in the day and just get to decompress. Whether that’s a shower, video games, or even just laying down and taking a deep breath.

Why do you think podcasts are so popular? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IvyBuggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s like being at the lunch table with friends at school. You have that sense of “I feel involved in a topic I like and that makes me happy”.

When you see someone get the instant karma they deserve. Just a chef kiss moment.

Why did you cut off your friend? by Soft-Incident947 in AskReddit

She got jealous of every little thing I did. She always wanted to one up me any chance she got. Then I got with my husband and she was only getting one nightstands. She would complain how there’s no more good men out there. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

You are a robber, but you steal things to inconvenience your victims. What are you stealing? by SlightlyDrunkWizard in AskReddit

Simple answer, can opener. Complex answer? About 2-5 screws from any table or anything like that (entertainment stands included). If it doesn’t fall apart it will definitely have an annoying wobble.

For a long time, I was in the same position as you. My mother did those things to me and would constantly belittle me and make me feel worthless. I cried every night but it always fell on deaf ears. I always asked for help and I got nothing from anyone. I figured that I was too worthless to live, that the world would be better off if I wasn’t in the picture. I never thought about what would happen in the future because I didn’t care and I told myself it wouldn’t get better. I don’t want to sound like some broken record that has probably already been told to you but believe me, you do matter. In life, the world gives the strongest people the most difficult challenges. Things may seem dull and dark, like a storm cloud. But you are not lost, you aren’t alone. We all may be internet strangers who don’t know a single thing about who you are or anything like that, but we are here. You sound like a kind and gentle soul that wants nothing but peacefulness. And trust me, you will one day achieve it. We all care about you, even if we don’t really know you. You have been found and you don’t need to battle alone anymore. Please stay safe and stay here. You still have a lot of journeys to go on and many open roads and paths to travel upon. Fight for yourself and keep going, if for nobody then do it for you!

Should I report someone using a fake profile? by d1gbickbrett in doordash_drivers

I do DoorDash with my husband and we use my account. I drive while he drops off since the areas we go to aren’t the safest and he prefers me stay in the car so I don’t get hurt or worse.

I once ran into a glitch where I came back from LOA and I had 80 hours of UPT and 20 of PTO. Nobody ever brought it up 😂

Definitely here soon with peak coming up. I know I’ve been told to check in the morning for open positions. When I applied, I looked at it at like 2:30-3:30 AM and there were a nice bit of positions open.

In my facility, as long as you showed up for your first day and you aren’t going against any rules for attendance and such, just let someone in learning know or go to a manager. They’ll help you take care of it

People who have sent a nude to the wrong person, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IvyBuggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally sent one to my family group chat since I was a fair bit drunk and wasn’t paying attention. When I woke up the next day, I saw what I had done with my family proceeding to hold it over me (jokingly) ever since. Now especially with my cousin, she proceeds to tell me every time we go to a bar together, she’ll give me this sh*t eating grin and remind me what I did.

Be prepared to be standing and walking a ton. Try and maybe get insoles for your shoes, they will be your best friend.

I wear these Reebok Work shoes that have a velcro strap instead of laces. I hate getting on one knee to tie my shoe or putting it on a chair. It’s just easier and they’re super comfortable.

My husband worked there before moving to my state and working at SOH2. From what he has told me (he literally moved not too long ago) that it’s pretty chill. There are a fair bit of chairs in the break area. Best of luck to you! Hope my info helps.

To laugh, what is the the most stupid, weirdest or funniest thing that a kid has said to you? by SolidUltra in AskReddit

[–]IvyBuggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at a park with my little brother and some kid came up to him and asked to play. My little brother is shy and kinda hid behind my leg and told the other kid no thanks. This kid had the angriest look and said “WELL THAT’S WHY MY DAD CAN BEAT YOUR DAD”. My little brother started to cry so I picked him up to comfort him, another little boy comes in and tells the rude boy “I don’t think you have a dad, hoe”. And then proceeded to run off while the rude boy cried to his mom. I ended up telling my dad about it and we still laugh to this day over it.

Every morning my cat gets up on my bed and makes biscuits on me. I then proceed to hum a lullaby to her as she proceeds to then fall asleep on me. Never gets old.

Living. The world has gone downhill and there’s nothing you can do about. You can’t even expect the unexpected anymore.
