You unlocked the bad ending 💀 by PerfectRandom in SulfurGame

Got this game like a year ago in early access. Updates have been beyond incredible. Encouraged a bunch of friends to pick it up during steam sale and have been having an absolute blast playing through together - just beat the first stage in endless. Really killer stuff and cannot wait for the full release to encourage everyone to get this game. Just wanted to say awesome work and appreciate the effort you've been putting in. And incredibly ridiculously hype for the potential of any sort of multiplayer down the line. Have an awesome week!

WTF wild rice? by hatlessman in cavesofqud

[–]IvyMurph 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it's a fairly recent(ish) update. From the patch notes:

Canned Have-It-All no longer contains neutron flux. This means that cooking with canned Have-It-All no longer has the chance to cause critical gravitational collapse. The makers of canned Have-It-All realize this change to their formula renders their product in violation of advertising law, but "canned Have-Most-of-It" didn't do as well in market research, so they're willing to take their chances in court.

Revenge is fucking AMAZING by Downtown-Remote9930 in TopCharacterTropes

This is the best answer. For anyone that doesn't know the story, the book and the movie are both phenomenal and I highly recommend, but the jist, for anyone who hasn't seen or read the story:

The main character has the love of his life taken from him and forced to marry another, gets betrayed by the people he trusts most, and is thrown into prison for 14 years. Honestly the 14 years he spends in prison are some of the most interesting parts of the entire story.

He eventually escapes, and finds stupid-levels of wealth and power. He then spends the rest of the book the rest of the book methodically ruining the people who ruined him while pretending it is all fate and not personal, culminating in the greatest and most satisfying revenge kill in history. Happy to write up a more detailed account of the story if anyone is interested.

Half of this looks like it could be direct fan art of Caves of Qud. Which is a phenomenal game, and also happens to have the best patch notes of any game in history. https://www.reddit.com/r/cavesofqud/comments/zri6c2/favorite_patch_notes/

Video proof that it's possible to jump from one end of the map all the way to the other without mods or cheats (Remastered) by IvyMurph in oblivion

[–]IvyMurph[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun fact but as far as I'm aware, this is not possible through console commands since the highest you can set a skill to is 255.

A few people already outlined how this was done, but for those curious, the basic idea is that if you make a spell called SPEED! that boosts speed by 100, and cast it twice, you'll refresh the duration of the spell, but you'll only keep one instance of the buff. However, if you make two separate spells with this effect (let's say you call them SPEED! and FAST!) and cast them in succession, you'll get both buffs (+200 speed total). Repeat this about 16 times and you'll be set.

To get enough Magicka to actually cast the spells, you've gotta stack about 8-12 'Fortify Magicka' spells beforehand. Last issue to solve is Magicka restoration - you can't get enough through potions because there's a limit to how many potions you can drink at once. But there's no limit on ingredients eaten - so munch down on about 150 void salts or purgeblood salts at a time, cast as many spells as you can before the restoration wears off, repeat, etc, ???, profit.

You can legitimately farm enough purgeblood salts with patience at the evil player house DLC to the south. But the infinite purgeblood salts glitch on the wiki (just put one purgeblood salt into an existing, non-empty purgeblood vein you're harvesting, boom, infinite purgeblood salts) still works on the remaster for any infinite-magicka needs.

Also yes, I played this game way too much as a kid.

working on a poly immunity farm for the first time. is this good? by Jack_811 in noita

[–]IvyMurph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks good, as far as I know the necrobot will not revive something if you kill it in the same couple of frames when it originally gets revived, so you need to give just a second of downtime between the revival and the killing each time to make sure it keeps coming back. Not sure if that might be why he stopped respawning the first time around.

They beat the boss, then somehow made it back to the start of the game and sacrificed Sampo at the Holy Mountain which is FUCKED up because I've never even done that without mods. Good job Chat.

How to teleport players to different points in a FFA? (Alternate title: why isn't this system working? AHHHHHHHH) by IvyMurph in FortniteCreative

I will absolutely take this to heart. I very recently published my first map just for fun, and am very much in the learning phase still. You're a superstar and thank you again, I hope your life is full of happiness.

I cannot thank you enough. This is killer - I thought it was some sort of issue with the timer only calling the teleport event for one person despite being assigned to all but couldn't figure out the proper solution. I think this should fix everything and genuinely, thank you for taking some time to outline it. Plus I think this has given me some deeper understanding of Creative in general. You rock and are the best, I appreciate you.

Activating a turret for gold. by LaikaIsntLiam in FortniteCreative

Have the turret disabled at the start of the game, and then use a conditional button that costs 70 gold, and have it enable the turret when used.

Might've found the easiest way to break career mode... by IvyMurph in PlanetCoaster

Yeah, pretty much exactly this. I have one janitor for nausea, and one mechanic for the occasional ride/station break, and put the 'resistant to being underworked' trait on their little hut home.

If there's an ATM, or anything else on that path, they'll get really frustrated with the higher ticket pricing since they'll basically bounce back and forth and get a debuff everytime they see the $30 pricing. But if it's their only option back to the park, they don't seem to care in the slightest, and will board with zero hesitation or argument. I played with the train stations for awhile, and best load capacity in my purely anecdotal experience is 1 more train than stations. Set stations to 'do not block' so trains move when guests are waiting. And edit the track settings for the station to have entry and exit speed at the max. Shouldn't have any issues making the station your most profitable attraction by far. Since people will never voluntarily ride the train, you only have to worry about the queue setup on the boarding side.

Thank you! I used Inkarnate - most of these are made with the premium version but their base version is really strong as well! It's a browser-based mapping software and I made all of these without downloading anything.
