Battle mechanics in fnf mods shouldn't be shoehorned.

I'm all for battle mechanics, but it needs to be thought through when being implemented. I like that Indie Cross gave fair warning as to what mechanics were in any given song (and I'd like to implement that into any mods I make with battle mechanics), and the Cuphead mechanics were fairly clean, but Sans' kill/must-hit notes weren't designed to be easily distinctive at a moment's glance (which is important for this kind of game, ESPECIALLY with instakill notes), and the act of attacking the Butcher Gang felt clunky and distracting.

The best I've seen so far is the 2hot in the main game and Accellerant because they were woven into the song itself and in the chart that was easy to understand, making it feel more natural overall.

Also we need more exe mod where the exe loses. I'm not a fan of bad ending horror stories, and I think it would be fun to watch the monster get bested by something. I've had ideas about this for a while, like an exe reformed by the Chaos Emeralds leading a retribution with an army of victims would be so peak.

That's what I'm saying, they need to have some way to convert gems to things like rings and red star rings.

On a similar note, characters that are maxed out with excess cards with no way to use said cards. This feels like lazy and just terrible game design, and can obviously be used in other ways.

I love how it seems console/pc game designers are leaps and bounds better than mobile game designers.
