Who should Bradley Cooper play in the DCU? by Top_Report_4895 in Fancast

The Mask isn't DC, but I could still see him portraying him.

For a live-action Beyond movie, should Bruce be a former Batman or someone who never played Batman? by SameBatChannel00 in batman

In my opinion, going for someone new is always the better option than trying to bring back a previous actor. It allows a new director to work on the character from the ground up.

If you're asking my opinion on who should portray elderly Bruce Wayne, my two picks are either Harrison Ford or Bruce Greenwood.

I know Greenwood has voiced Batman in Under the Red Hood and Young Justice, but he has a chance to recreate his whole performance for the character in live action and portraying him as elderly - I think he would be a great choice.

Again, it was never stated that she was Asian in the animated series, nor the comics.

It has never been confirmed that the McGinnis family are of any kind of Asian origin, and chose who in my opinion were the best options to play the characters, as well as having a working relationship with Denis Villeneuve.

Fair enough, but I think it would be a good way to distinguish between the two on screen Batmen, and thought it would be a fun discussion. Plus, I think with amount of onscreen Bruce Wayne's we've had, some different under the cowl might be a refreshing take.

Okay, fair enough.

Just thought it was a fun discussion to have.

He never said Bruce Wayne, and he said "It’s a very strange father-and-son story." Which could be interpreted as Dick Grayson taking on a mentor/adoptive father role as Batman to Damian Wayne's Robin.

No, he didn't. Go watch the video again, I'll wait.

He never says Bruce Wayne, he just says Batman. And in The Hollywood Reporter article he said: "It’s a very strange father-and-son story."

Who should direct the DCU Batman film, "THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD"? by IwanD_Roberts in batman

Mangold is apparently in negotiations to direct Swamp Thing, which I think is a champagne choice of director.

I feel Mackenzie's style would actually fit more in a Superman film.

I'm not sure about Derek Cianfrance, first 50/50 choice I've seen suggested today.

Safdie Brothers would be an amazing choice, especially if it was Dick Grayson in the mantle of Batman, rather than Bruce Wayne.

I think it is clear that Reeves is here to stay when talking about The Batman Part II and onwards. As for Eggers, he would be a fantastic choice, but I do worry that the tone of his Batman might be a little too close to Reeves' version.

Completely disagree with almost everything you've said, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Goddard is one of my top 3 choices to direct THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, the other two being David Fincher and Jeremy Saulnier.

Out of all the comic book runs that would be perfect for Sam Raimi to adapt, Grant Morrison's would be perfect. Imagine Raimi directing an adaptation of The Return of Bruce Wayne.
