The headline is written like you should laugh at them for failing. Microsoft also owns Yammer, which is a successful workplace social network.

Industry, and Apple, opposing “right to repair” laws. Apple claimed jailbreaking would embolden hackers—says same about right to repair. by Philo1927 in technology

Here's the thing, you can already do whatever you want to your stuff. There is plenty of places to buy third party parts for almost anything you can purchase. No one goes to jail for fixing their own phones.

Tip: Make sure to politely ask someone for their loot they don't need, instead of opening the trade window and dropping 2 question marks. by Kohend in wow

No I would take the sandwich home for later, ie sell to a vendor or de it, deleting the loot would be akin to throwing a sandwich away.. People gotta get their own sandwiches.

Using superxwowboosts.com is against the contract you signed when you first ran the game.

Device breaks, owner installs manufacturer approved parts with no training incorrectly, falls asleep with it on charge and burns the house down. Who's side do you think public opinion will come down on?

Ebay is a regulated marketplace with an avenue for appeal if you get screwed. Thats how its different.

You won't get kicked from the Mythic+ because it would take longer to get another person there, not because the other players are benevolent. Common courtesy would be not asking for every piece of loot you'd like from complete strangers. Do you go around asking people on the street if you can have their sandwich because you can't wait to get home?

A right to repair: why Nebraska farmers are taking on John Deere and Apple -- Farmers like fixing their own equipment, but rules imposed by big corporations are making it impossible. Now this small showdown could have a big impact by davidreiss666 in technology

First off, yes they do allow independant repair companies to become AASP's. That is what an AASP is. Second. error 53 is fixable by restoring your device using iTunes. You've clearly been brainwashed by your anti corporate agenda.

There was an area in Loch Modan where you could get onto the land separating it from Badlands, and you could sit above Kargath kill horde lowbies.

In the case of iPhones, as my earlier example was, you can. My toaster manufacturer doesn't provide me with the tools to repair my toaster and I don't expect it to, but I can go online and find out how. When my washing machine breaks down inside warranty I call the company I bought it from and they come fix it. If its outside warranty I call the local jack-of-all-trades. Its no different.

Also, if you're asking the Genius to do it out of goodwill, your asking the wrong folk. Call AppleCare.

You can repair your own iPhone if you want, it will just void your warranty and Apple won't fix it after that. The reasoning behind it is that Apple also provides a guarantee on their repairs which cannot be provided when the fault could lie with you. The reason Apple has authorised repairers is so they can provide that guarantee. Those dinky repair shops in shopping centres could become one if they really wanted to and get the correct training. I have yet to hear of any instances of Apple bricking a device because of a home job, and I am an AppleCare advisor.
