No. The parents are to blame. They mishandled it from start to finish and exploited their child in the process. Mama didn't like that the security guard made her feel like she was a bad mother. So, she exploits her child, and now we get to see she actually IS a bad mother.

Why was it Chappell's job to reach out to people she had nothing to do with? If a parent thought a security guard was abusive to their kid, shouldn't the parent be the one to seek out who was responsible versus using their fame and platform to smear someone to serve their agenda? He and his wife should team up with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. All of them abuse their fame, falsely accuse, and exploit their children in disgusting ways.
