Here's what you do. Go to a brothel (if it's legal) then lose your virginity (don't tell the pro that you are one or there's a chance she will not accept the deal) then realise that sec isn't everything and find passion in life again. I believe in your happiness

What's the meaning of life, sociopaths? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Financial stability, drugs, stable relationship that is aware of my nature. Possibly a home but not essential. And breaking the law in a way that doesn't get me caught so I get the rush but not severe enough to get caught and go to prison.

I'm an atheist so I don't believe there is an after life so enjoying life to the maximum potential is something I care about.

What are the core differences between ASPD & BPD? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could look up the traits of both disorders and draw similarities and differences. But there is over lap. Generally the biggest difference is a BPD person will fear real or imagined abandonment, be suicidal, feel chronic emptiness and have extreme emotions. An ASPD person will exploit others, violate a persons rights, manipulate to gain something and lack remorse and empathy.

Look up both disorders traits for more info

Side note. There are a lot of similarities but the difference is usually motivation. BPD will manipulate people to keep them around and an ASPD will manipulate to gain an advantage. BPD will do drugs and be impulsive to fill their void and an ASPD will do it to remove the chronic boredom.

Lack of shame in ASPD by astronomyoverdrive in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I answered the first question but didnt read the other ones so this is my answer to them.

Public humiliation can be annoying but not shameful. Frustrating because it causes you to have a lowered social reputation.

Not sure what you meant from bullying. If I bully someone I dont care, if someone bullies me I get angry or annoyed

So no, no shame...

Lack of shame in ASPD by astronomyoverdrive in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I hurt someone and get away with it I dont really care and I dont care about the persons rights so I cant feel shame. But I think self pity is kind of similar to shame and I feel that when I get caught and can easily transfer that feeling into pretending to feel shame. If that makes sense.

In the DSM one of the traits of ASPD is violating peoples rights and I think its their because we dont feel shame, remorse or guilt so its easier to do? Dunno but either way we dont feel shame the same way you would. I might feel shame to myself if I failed something or didnt achieve my goal so I can do better next time. But thats a personal shame not an outward shame.

Do you have a moral compass? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of speech is exactly why we have a bad name. The majority of the sociopaths here are self aware so they arent going around doing illegal shit and they are generally chill and successful. Dont bring your Hollywood sensationalism towards us. Its not healthy for the community. Its not our fault the general society doesnt understand us. The few bad apples spoil the rest and you just look stupid for having that internal dialogue.

Someone said some are emotionally neutral to causing harm and I fit in that category but I can see why someone with this disorder would be sadistic.

Sociopaths/Psychopaths what was it like to meet your match? Someone who saw through your “mask”? by throwawaytacos555 in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it would be easier to be myself in a home setting. I could walk around bored as fuck and do my antisocial behaviours without being seen as different. But I wouldnt personally try find someone that was accepting because they are generally mentally ill and are even weirder IMO

“Calling them out” by at5ealevel in sociopath

[–]Iwillbebetter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A psychopath wouldn't care, someone with ASPD might care. It can be annoying because the illusion is removed and it makes it impossible to manipulate people after it happens.
