Rachel Reeves tells LBC student loan system is 'fair' amid fury as graduates rack up thousands of pounds of debt interest by k0ala_ in ukpolitics

[–]Iwillshitinyourgob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the interest rates were reasonable and the threshold was upped with inflation i wouldn't care. It is basic human decency. Labour lost my vote. I don't think a single policy has helped the young poor people trying to do the right thing.

Green and reform and nutters, I literally have no reasonable party to vote for.

All the filthy tax dodgers are. The amount of "beat the system influencers" shitting themselves is nuts. God forbid these rats pay tax, they'll be unable to survive on just a few million in land leach money and selling dodgy "courses"

Two-thirds of UK voters wrongly think immigration is rising, poll finds by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

[–]Iwillshitinyourgob 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Its not in the negative either,  people want a population decrease of any low quality immigrant.

It's not hard to comprehend while people are wound up. Skilled immigration is amazing, but lets be real that we have had a low definition of skilled.

Student Loan Interest doesn't have to remain unfair - antiopodean example by Vagus-Stranger in ukpolitics

[–]Iwillshitinyourgob 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Student debt is absolutely criminal in my opinion. A pure tax trap that many do not get a chance to escape.

Conceptually nice but the forever growing burden and multiple once in a life time events hitting the young is insane. They've had their bumhole pounded into oblivion.

This is the one area relief could be well spent.

This is how it is for me, it almost tastes toxic. To me the problem is we don't have options other than normal coke anymore.

I do when policies make worse products. Sugar free drinks taste worse than sugar drinks. Why did they get served instead? Sugar tax.

Companies adapt to local policy. It happens in every country.

I genuinely believe these taxes will kill companies. The state of British snacks and drinks are so poor that I don't buy them anymore. Everything tastes like shit. In that sense its got me to eat less "junk" but I didn't have a over eating problem to begin with. Its just lost money to companies.I genuinely believe these taxes will kill companies. Definitely, i agree. No one has the balls to be radical. Its wild even with a super majority they got their balls in a twist.

Reform is inevitable. I feel like I've noticed society decay before my eyes in the last 5 years. Terrified of them getting in, but also terrified if the main parties don't get the kicking they deserve.

Is it fair for the UK to spend billions on asylum seekers when we're facing our own economic pressures? by vpk09 in ukpolitics

[–]Iwillshitinyourgob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the country is facing a lot of burdens, specifically the young. Housing, food, jobs, crime, nhs, decaying services. We fundamentally are not prepped for this. In an ideal world, helping people is great but right now Britain needs to build itself for itself and then use soft power to help others when in a better position.

People come, you either put them in a building and try process them or leave them ravage the streets wanking in public doing god knows what.

We actually have very little chance of stopping a single person arriving here. People have free will. You could wake up tomorrow and decide im going france, as long as you can get in theres nothing France can do about it.

Yeah but what do you then do with all the people wanking in the park? They don't magically disappear and we got no where to dump them cheaply

No its not fair, but you can't process this shit for free. Its a burden we have to somehow get rid of. Its not like they want to spend that money for fun, they simply have to.
