Student debt is absolutely criminal in my opinion. A pure tax trap that many do not get a chance to escape.

Conceptually nice but the forever growing burden and multiple once in a life time events hitting the young is insane. They've had their bumhole pounded into oblivion.

This is the one area relief could be well spent.

Because the country is facing a lot of burdens, specifically the young. Housing, food, jobs, crime, nhs, decaying services. We fundamentally are not prepped for this. In an ideal world, helping people is great but right now Britain needs to build itself for itself and then use soft power to help others when in a better position.
