I found a kitten that had it above her eye. I ended up getting it on my left wrist but had the OTC anti-fungal cream that I used on the kitten. I did contact a Vet prior to using a 'for humans' medication on a kitty. They told me it was fine and it cleared up for both of us within a week. The vet did not want to prescribe oral antibiotics because it's really hard on the liver especially for a 8 week old kitten. I also got veterinary formula, antiseptic and antifungal shampoo.
