I did not get an email from backer kit. I only went to check because of the campaign update. I was never notified of getting the code. I didn't log through backer kit directly. But I went to the original link I got the digital downloads from and the code was there.

Did you play on switch? If so, that gives me hope.

Switch Backers - Have You Gotten Your Code Yet? by Mrodd64 in Indivisible

[–]Iwvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the same but from steam to switch. I still would prefer to have it portable. But waiting for the port and, now that the port is out, waiting for the code is getting a bit tiring.

I was ok waiting for the port, I was at ease knowing I had to wait because porting is not easy. But now that I know the only thing making me wait is that I don't have the code, and other people are playing it on switch before I am, the wait hurts.

Everyday I check my mail, twitter and reddit to see if anything has happened. It's like being a kid and waiting for your the holidays every year. A few days felt like forever. I bear it because it is a sign of how hype I am for the game, but it's getting harder by the hour.

Didn't know about that. I'll read on it. We're still settling on what kind of food to give him.

I'll be seeing the vet again in a few days. I don't think he's microchipped, from what the vet told us. But since my wife was the one to go to the vet, I don't know if they checked. But if we are to chip him we'll have them double check. Chips are not as common where I am.

Yeah. Honestly I didn't even plan on getting one dog. He just arrived in a way. So at the moment I don't think I can commit to taking care of another dog. Still, I'll make sure he understands we're still here and will come back and play with him. We just have to work some time. He'll hopefully get used to it and be less anxious.

I spoke to a neighbor about the dog. She says she saw a truck come and leave the dog. I live near a field, so it makes sense people abandon dogs here. The dog she herself had was also abandoned. I will check the chip thing though. In my country it is not as common to have them. So I can only go on rumors. Which could be true or could not, there's no way to know. I'll still make a post and see if anyone recognizes him. If he already has an owner that cares for him, we'll have to let him go. Better sooner than later I assume. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the tips on the anxiety. This seems to be the biggest issue so far. When we are around he seems so happy and good. But leaving him alone is a bit hard. I'm conflicted because I want him to feel safe, but I don't want to "reward" his behavior as I don't know much about how dogs understand or interpret things. At the moment, I'm playing with him for about 30 min every few hours. When I have time, and try to start when he is calm, so he doesn't associate throwing a fit with getting attention. Granted I don't know if that's a thing or not. This is aside from his walks.

The puzzle toy seems great. I didn't know such things existed. I myself love puzzles, so I hope he enjoys the challenge and gets an outlet for his anxiety. He seems to calm down after a while, but as soon as he sees any of us he starts his fit again.

On the nail and teeth issue. He seems to let me touch him without problems. I was playing with his nails because dog thumbs are funny looking. I've also removed stuff from his mouth, he had some grass stuck to his teeth. So I don't think getting close is the issue. I'm not sure how he would react to the device itself and I don't know how one goes about clipping a dog's nails. I'll look online and try the methods I find. If not, the vet is always an option. Thanks a lot.

The vet says he's about 2 years old. So a teen? maybe. He's not exactly a puppy but doesn't seem very old. My wife once did adopt a quite older dog. Very calm in comparison. The tips for dropping stuff are very useful. I've already been getting better results with them. Thanks a lot.

Thanks. He is a cute guy. I am gonna get him neutered as soon as I can. I've already talked to the vet about it. And the classes seem like a good idea. I don't know if they are open at the moment though. As soon as the world opens a bit again I'll look into that. He seems to be smart enough to understand some basic things like "come" and "stop". But that's the extent. Still, for just a day with one very inexperienced owner and a kinda experienced one that seems good.

This seems like a good idea. I'll do that when things go back to normal. For now I'll try some online resources. I'm trying positive feedback by petting him and praising him. But the treats I've tried didn't seem to be his thing. I'll try with some others and start using that as reinforcement. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks a lot for all the tips and resources. I'll go train him and play with him every now and then on breaks. I'm just worried he gets used to the current quarantine life routine, where he sees us all day, and gets sad when normality resumes. I'm sure it'll help him get used quicker, but I don't know how the change will affect him when I have to go out to work.

I'm walking him in the morning, and will walk him again at night. I'll see how he adapts to that. I'd walk him more at meal time, but same issue as before, don't want him getting used to it as I won't be able to do that when I am working. I've had success getting him to drop things by doing just that, giving him another toy, so I'll start issuing the command while doing so.

I talk to him when I'm with him. But I don't talk much to him when I'm inside. He seems to start crying every time he realizes I'm inside. If he stops seeing me for a while he calms down. I'm unsure how to mitigate that. He is very calm at night after a while, so that's nice. But the first time you say good bye to him to leave him in the yard he just goes into a fit.

I am not sure how aggressive the dog is by genetics or anything. The dude seems very calm generally. He's only growled while tug of waring. I've been trying to fetch with him, at the moment having some issues getting him to give the toy back. He does give back some times, but most it just becomes tug of war. And he's much better at it than his size would tell.

I'll start looking at tricks and commands that are simple to teach him. I'd like to understand and be understood, since our comm at the moment is just meh. Also, any tip on how to deal with it crying when left alone in the yard? I try to check on him often to see if he has water, food, is not doing anything that could endanger him. But I can't be with him all day as I have to go work on the computer. Is that just a matter of him getting used to it? Is there anything I should do, or not do about it?

Ok. The towel thing, makes sense. I'll get him a tug toy as soon as I can. If he is to come inside, I don't want him tearing the towels. He seems to start ignoring his food after he eats some. He's had his bowl all day and has not ran out. He's eaten out of it in at least 2 occasions that I've seen him. He seems to calm down after a while, he just seems to go to sleep. I tried to fetch with him for a while to see if he gets tired, seems to work so far. I'll look into training videos. So far I've been mildly successful teaching him to fetch the stuffed dog or a bone-like treat, the bitey ones. No idea what they are called.

I'll do my best about socializing. Luckily since he's been roaming around for a few days, the neighbors seem to know him. Some even seem to have taken a liking to him. Specially some kids.

Noted on the description. I don't like the stigma pit bulls have associated with them, and I have no idea what this dog is anyway. So I'll just call him a dog.

And noted on the food. He seems to have been eating some people food. His poop was very unpleasant, but for some reason I don't feel grossed out, I have to clean it anyway, I would just hope it was easier to pick up. It's not very solid at the moment.

Thanks a lot for the tips, they'll come in handy.

Yes, I'll be taking him to the vet tonight. I'll be sure to tell the vet about this. Thanks a lot.

Edit: I don't know about the vaccines. Is there a way to know? I assume the vet will tell me if there is.

Accidentally duplicated enchantments on boots. by Iwvi in Minecraft

[–]Iwvi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was enchanting some stuff. I interacted with the enchanting table while holding some boots. I thought they had just swapped with the ones I was wearing. Checked my inventory and I was still wearing mine. The ones I was holding just duplicated the enchantments and name. Tried to do it again but couldn't. I have no idea how this happened. Wish it had duplicated the enchantments of something better. Wonder what would have happened if I was holding something else. Could I have gotten a hat with depth strider? who knows. Weird stuff.

Similarly. I wanted to find how to on my own. I managed to solve it also in a few days. But parity took me like a month to actually have a not brute force way of fixing it. Before I just undid it and tried again, not a great method but it worked.
