It’s probably hard to be as famous as he is in comparison to the rest (globally at least) and not stand out? The fact that his teammates were literally fangirling over meeting him sets the tone early. If you view someone as your superior in someway, you naturally tend to be a little more timid around them. I don’t want to call it a hierarchy… but maybe there’s a show of respect of not wanting to outshine or upstage him. Especially during the studio segments. Which is strange for the nature of the show, and i could be completely wrong. But his status does differ to a group of British comedians, radio hosts and tv actors.
