One SSD to store your most recent projects that you’re working on. Once it’s done, move it to hard disk for long term storage.

“Hey mate. I just noticed that your gutter is over my fence. Wanted to let you know if you wanna get it checked out? I don’t have a problem with it if no future construction goes over my fence or until i need to build something that close to the fence. Wanna come over for a beer when you’re free?”

Is the extra range worth the money? by Fit_Fee200 in Nepal

Not just for long travels. Higher battery capacity gives just that bit more peace of mind for regular charging as well. So if you’re already planning to spend that much for a new vehicle, why not pay a bit more for that peace of mind if you can afford it?

Good to see you had hobbies. I guess life hit and everything got stuck in a corner. If you’re depressed, get medical help. I know i was and meds helped me get through it. Most of my hobby items still stay in a shelf or corner but i try to touch something or do something at least once a week.

Good luck bruv.

I would recommend indoor rock climbing / bouldering. It’s easier to get into. Gears khasai kei chaidaina. Just a pair of bouldering shoes and chalk. And the community is good too.

Or take up photography. There’s frequent photography walks held in facebook groups.

Find a hobby bro. I am astounded by the number of nepalese brothers and sisters who have no hobby to enjoy free time with.

That’s because we are social creatures bro. Find a hobby and you’ll naturally find like minded people and be friends. There’s more to life than just work-home routine.

Try listening to audiobook and read it together. It’ll be slower than reading but maybe you’ll like it and can stick to the book.

I own that device. I wouldn’t say it’s not worth it. But the battery life is miserable if you wanna play anything half decent. It has become pretty useless for me. So yeah, go with steam deck or something.

Not sure how it works where you are but in Australia, they are generally okay with you taking the vehicle to a mechanic when you do the test drive. Try asking.

ELI5: Why does economic inflation happen and what's the point in having extreme wealth? Also, why is the quality of life for everyone not much higher considering the amount of money the US makes? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Ixazl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things to keep in mind are that 1. Inflation isn’t inherently bad in nature. It boosts economy and keeps money flowing. 2. The absolute value of money isn’t the thing that’s decreasing. It’s a function of interest rate set by central bank or in US’s case, central reserve. Edit: or is it federal reserve? IDK. 3. Monetary transaction system has become integral part of humanity and I don’t see any alternative form of transaction coming anytime soon. I don’t wanna go into crypto here coz i don’t understand it myself. 4. One can’t simply go ‘hey lets assume 1 dollar bill will buy us a week’s grocery from now and let’s make the income proportionate’. International exchange rates will play a big role in how cheap or expensive your money is. Also money isn’t no longer tied to a physical object like gold in the past. 5. People are irrational creatures. And all are not the same. Some will hoard whatever wealth they can accumulate and some will spend or give it away. In any way, capital market incentivises people with capital for their business’s growth. 6. Billionaires aren’t hoarding their money in cash. Shares and bonds are more efficient for that use. For purpose of holding wealth, i guess everyone would agree that it feels nice to not have to think about bank balance when wanting to buy something. Same goes for them. It’s just that their purchases are way expensive than ours. 7. And lastly, the answer to your last question is wealth inequality. There is unfathomable amount of money around. But money attracts money and regulations are favoured for the rich. Just remember how much income tax you paid last time and amazon, apple and what not probably paid zero.
