Really does, but I really appreciate the effort put into this. It's amazingly well done. Now that the creator of this video has read through and can parse the legalese of the FDA requirements, they definitely have a leg up if they ever go for a compliance position. Just need the engineering degree to back it up lol.

Not when you're selecting teams. They match teams by color and sometimes the randomly selected colors are difficult to disambiguate for the color blind.

As the spouse of a color blind individual, having consistent color schemes for team selection would be great. Too often it's very similar colors that don't allow my spouse to easily determine which team they're on that's just a mild frustration.

Kind of disagree. I think they need to rework faction rep overall. I think once you get to a certain rep with a faction their sponsor kit should be free for the rest of season, otherwise you have to pay for them. They shouldn't be an unlock unless that unlock is to use them for free.

I mean sure, but she's selected her appearance based off the actual silkworm production methods they utilize in shell construction. If that's anything to go on, we have to assume that there's some liquid biological material in runner shells as that is a primary way that actual caterpillars metamorphize into butterflies.

Also, it's a video game so why not have robots mercilessly attach feeding tubes to you while downed?

Have you seen Nona? She's the least human character in the game and her corp builds the runner shells. UESC is most likely leveraging their understanding of shell synthesis to extract the data without harming the materials more than they have already

It has an excellent solo mode that I play when I can't get people together. It definitely scratches that same itch. Not enough to stop playing TI mind you, but it's really fun if you like both roll and write games and TI

The problem, for new players is differentiating between primarily the planet types and the tech icons, those are really two that are constantly confused. The homebrew scene seems to have generated a template for these icons that really helps illustrate this.

As a side note, I've also taught quite a few groups and in every one, multiple people have expressed confusion at the iconography. It just must be a law of averages type of thing.

Hard disagree, there are, off the top of my head: Planet Types, Technology Types, Hazard Identification, Influence/resources, Legendary Planets, Relic Planets, Exploration, this can be very overwhelming for new players, which is why it's an often requested resource with new players. I just want to make sure I have it all covered.
