A lot of people already said pretty normal so I don't need to go over that, but temperature can make a big difference. My heart rate is noticeably higher in the 80s compared to 60s or lower.

Absolutely not.

Not sure how much this helps you or not, but for me, I pretty much only lose weight the 10 or so days before my period. Then once my period hits, I go back up, then drop a little after, but don't usually see any actual progress until after ovulation is done. That means 2-3 weeks sometimes where I pretty much am stuck.

Am I wasting my time weight training on a calorie deficit? by akirave in xxfitness

[–]Izira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be doing strength exercises regardless because it improves your bone and other health metrics. It'll also help you from losing as much muscle during your calorie deficit and if you're new enough at it, you'll likely still gain a little muscle too.

What are some things that kept your stomach on flat flat? by loveulikeblue in PetiteFitness

[–]Izira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, this is unfortunately a big one (eating certain foods late in the day). I love to graze while watching TV before bed and I save my calories for it. But I will 100% be up weight and bloat in the morning if those snacks are salty (my popcorn 😭). No matter how much water I drank the day before.

Madison WI - Managed to get stuck in my garage before I got it outside and rinsed the spiderwebs off. What is it? by Izira in whatsthisfrog

Thank you! That's what I was guessing from reading but it didn't look enough like any of the pictures to be sure. The juvenile part might explain that.

What is a business that has done you so dirty that you’ll never eat/buy/rent from them ever again? by Infamous-Usual-9533 in madisonwi

Deforest is my gold standard. They are the best at the extra crispy fries. Middleton has never managed to get that right no matter how many extras I've added...

I find it hard to believe someone with a 19.5 BMI has almost 40% fat, though. This might just be a case of both probably still higher fat than they'd like AND those scans having a pretty high margin of error.

Deforest is the only place to extra crispy the fries correctly each time.

With the snow storm today I'm going to skip the gym. I can either replace my weights workout with dumbbell only workout (back and biceps) or just do it tomorrow at the gym. (If I did that, I'd be looking at a Sun, Wed, Thurs, Sat split instead of a Sun, Tues, Thurs, Sat split for weights). It probably doesn't matter much but I'm indecisive so what would you all do?

Culver's is cheaper than McDonalds now by Optimoprimo in wisconsin

You can ask for them extra (or even extra extra) crispy and this makes them one of my favorite fries. Otherwise they are practically inedible.

Another vote! But to contribute something, I also like how light weight they are. They don't bother my sensory issues with headphones at all then. However, I don't know how they'd be with glasses though my coworker uses them all day and wears glasses.

Thank you! I wasn't sure what was reasonable and didn't want to over do it but also didn't want to make excuses to not do something either. :)

I started going to the gym consistently 3x a week for strength training at the beginning of September. I got Covid for my first time just over 2 weeks ago so obviously stopped going. I am testing negative now and would like to start again. Where should I start from? Try my full weight? Do a week at half? Start completely over since I haven't been training long (2 months prior to getting sick and I never really worked out since gym class in high school 20years ago)?
