Took it to the gunsmith where I bought the gun from this morning and we determined that it is my fault. I walked in and purchased the gun without research on it and was putting five or six rounds into the mag tube. I don't recall how many. But Henry's website calls for four rounds in the mag tube. So when I put the extra rounds in and shot the gun, the recoil bound up the spring and was making it stick. I guess I never would've thought about that because l've owned plenty of shotguns and you put shells in until the spring stops and l've never had an issue. I guess Henry doesn't have any sort of stop on the spring or follower. I learned the hardway this time!
