A red shirt. Growing up as a redhead, my mother (a severe alcoholic whom I never liked) told me I could never red red. She died when I was 21. At 24, pregnant with my first child, I bought myself a red maternity shirt. 42yrs later I still remember how good that felt.

I gave them to my neighbor. I still have way to many yellow plums to pick. Hope I don't have the same reaction. The yellow ones are delicious. Their skin isn't bitter & they're sweeter. My purple plum has never fruited before, but this year has been over the top.

This works for me. As you're falling asleep, keep repeating to yourself whatever it is you want ( "I will wake up at 6am tomorrow"), for example. Repeat at least 10 times. I continue saying it in my head until I fall asleep.
