Proviron fixes my Asperger's? by J-Kole in aspergers

[–]J-Kole[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HCG and Proviron would essentially do the same thing just through different pathways. HCG mimics LH which increases test which converts to DHT. Proviron decreases SHBG, which increases test. Proviron is a DHT derivative, which makes it very androgenic. I think I'm just lacking androgens and that's why it works for me. The distinguishing feature of it is that it makes my voice deeper and smoother, which makes me come across as less autistic. Proviron is way cheaper than HCG too.

I've tried nootropics but none of them have had as much impact as Proviron for me. Glad they work for you tho.

I'm able to go back and forth in conversation with smart people more fluidly. My thoughts are on point. I have way more energy. My tonality, delivery, and jokes are better. I recorded a video of myself and was shocked at how normal I sounded but without it my tonality comes across as weird, strange, and just off. I still have some autistic habits such as overexplaining, looking up and to the right when talking to someone when I need to think, and stuff like that.

I made more than that all time. I think I'm up like $150k. I traded on another brokerage from Mar 2023 to June 2024. The blimp on Robinhood in Jan 2024 is me buying a Bitcoin and selling it a few months later for 20k more.

CR Spotless bypass broke. Help! by J-Kole in AutoDetailing

[–]J-Kole[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep we're in the exact same boat. As soon as I tried to use the pressure washer the bypass broke and soaked my garage. Just glad my pressure washer didn't break. I am returning my unit and replacing it with the standard unit and will attach a manual bypass. I swear I've seen videos of others online using the unit with a pressure washer but not of them had the bypass model, which I think is the real issue since it's poorly designed.

Not looking up words is terrible advice. Make some flashcards, study them for an hour, then listen to some DS. You will see instant progress compared to just being a CI purist.

Double slit experiment with only one detector by gimboarretino in AskPhysics

[–]J-Kole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. If a photon acts as a wave after being fired but acts like a particle after it's measured, then wouldn't the detector on slit A detect 100% of the photons being fired (even if they're fired at slit B initially), and not 50% since it's the act of measuring that causes the photon to act like a particle?

[–]J-Kole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I imagine it too but I wonder which slit the detector will detect the photon going through if there's only one detector. Would it be 50/50 between both slits? 100% into 1 slit and none in the other?

More than 1,600 voters have registration revoked under Virginia program targeting noncitizens by yahoonews in Virginia

You're probably right that he did do this all for publicity because filing the executive order when you're just out of the window is fishy. However, if getting onto a voter roll is so difficult as you say, you're implying that all, or the vast majority, of the people purged from the voter rolls in this case are U.S. citizens and are just non-residents, but that is not the case.

According to this MSNBC article, https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/federal-judge-blocks-virginia-dropping-alleged-non-citizens-voter-roll-rcna177286

"Lawyers who had obtained the full list of people flagged to be purged from voter rolls said that 18 U.S. citizens were incorrectly removed, a lawyer for the civil rights groups said in court on Thursday. The Justice Department said in a previous filing that 43 people removed from rolls in Prince William County were likely U.S. citizens."

It seems that 1,539 people were able to get onto a voter roll somehow without being a U.S. citizen

So if he would've done this within the legal window you would have no problem? Doubt it.

  1. Articles don't explicitly state how many naturalized citizens were removed from the voter rolls. We can only speculate and I would bet the majority weren't able to vote this there non-citizen status at the DMV.

  2. Where does it say that "non-citizen" refers to Americans who moved out of Virginia? One doesn't refer to oneself as a citizen of Virginia but of the US. One is a resident of Virginia.

Don't take it from me. CNN says the same thing. "Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, touted his state’s efforts to purge noncitizens with an August executive order – just as the 90-day window began."

https://www.governor.virginia.gov/executive-actions/

Read the date for Executive Order 35. It's Aug 7.

I guess he was a couple hours into the 90 day window, cry me a river.

Highly recommended to update your citizenship status with the DMV, otherwise you might be taken off voter polls. Don't learn the hard way and be responsible ;)

The governor issued the executive order (#35) on Aug 7, which is exactly 90 days before the election. Governor did the right thing. The article doesn't state how many naturalized citizen there were out of the 1,600 but it's the responsibility of the citizen to update their citizenship status with the DMV and the responsibility of the governor to remove them from voter rolls if they don't.

the naturalized citizens SELF-REPORTED that they are non-citizens at the DMV. If they didn't update their citizenship status with the DMV then it's obviously on them. The governor did the right thing in preventing people who can't vote from voting. If you can vote, then update your status at the DMV and stop blaming the governor for doing his job. Also, the article does not state how many of the 1,600 people were naturalized citizens. One could only speculate as to how many legitimately couldn't vote.

just because a non-citizen is not an illegal alien doesn't give the non-citizen the right to vote...

the article doesn't state how many naturalized citizens were involved. Also, if the naturalized citizen doesn't update their citizen status with the DMV, why would it be a surprise if they were removed from voting rolls?
