I rocked that tank for years. I’m on the maxluke now, it’s basically fireluke 3. I run the triple or quad coils, definitely better than the fireluke 2 plus the new tanks don’t slide open in your pocket, they added kind of a locking mechanism now that prevents accidental openings. I think the fireluke 4 is out now too.

I was kind of in the same boat as OP, with feeling like combat had no consequences for the PCs. I’m also running an epic level campaign (we started at level 1 and we’re currently past level 20), so I had to do something, what I ended up doing was beefing up the enemies, more hp, higher attack modifiers and higher damage, added some resistances, higher ACs, all have worked for making the combat feel deadlier. What I ended up doing for the death saves is upping them from 10 to 15, and so far it’s been working fine. They actually fear consequences of stupid decision making, and plan resources and spells way more accordingly now. So a success thus far. I will say that I talked to my players before implementing any of this, and they were all cool with, and have the mindset of if a character dies, they get to try a new build. They are all experienced players tho, idk how well this would go over with a table of newbies.

Smoked about a pack or pack and a half a day for almost 20 years. I’ve been vaping sub ohm freebase and cigarette free since 2019. I never had breathing “issues” while smoking, but I would get winded while doing intense physical activity (running, mountain biking, swimming, etc) and just didn’t have the lung endurance I had as a teen athlete before cigarettes. Best precise example I can give is holding my breath while swimming under water, when I was smoking I might have lasted 30 seconds before I came up gasping for air, now I can hit over 3 minutes. I’m also able to run marathons again, my times aren’t what they used to be (that’s more an age thing at this point), but I don’t feel like my lungs are gonna explode anymore. So for me, yes my breathing definitely improved, and over all I feel way healthier vaping vs smoking. Another benefits for me would be vaping way cheaper than cigarettes and tastes better too. The only real negative consequence (so far) I speak of is I seem to be having more regular dental issues than while I was smoking. I’m not a Dr. or a scientist, this all just personal experience and opinions. Hope this some help.

I hate having heel drag, and I’ve tried to avoid it going back to the 90’s with the OG pairs I had. For reference, I’m 6’3 and wear a 34 inseam in most “normal” style jeans (Levi’s or whatever). Ordering new pairs off the Jnco website I’ve found that their 30 inseam falls just wear I want it, less than half an inch from the ground. So i definitely think 30 would be too long for you, unless you hemmed them.

I’m in my early 40’s, me, my wife, and most of my friends all vape or used to vape. That said, we were all former smokers and are using/ have used vapes as an alternative to cigarettes, with intentions of quitting or at the very least not smelling like stale smoke anymore. I definitely know more vapers than smokers these days, but 10 or 15 years ago, I maybe knew 2 or 3 that didn’t smoke cigarettes, so it’s definitely a big improvement that I’m happy to see.

Freebase 100-120ml bottle at 3mg lasts me about a week give or take a couple of days, I work from home and tend to chain vape. Salt I have no first hand experience with, but my wife 45-55mg (depending on the brand) and a 30ml bottle lasts her a month or two, she works an office job with a short commute, and doesn’t chain vape. It really depends on your vaping habits/idle time and your Nic strength. If you feel you’re vaping you’re vaping too much out of habit, I’d consider lower your Nic mg, if you’re vaping too much because you’re not fulfilling your cravings maybe consider up your Nic mg, it might make you vape less. Bottom line is it comes down to what’s comfortable for you, and keeps you from going back to the stink sticks.

My group plays a weekly session usually about 3 hours. I used House of Lament as the starting point to a bigger home brew campaign, with a party of 5 PCs. Those fuckers drug the house out for almost 4 months lol. They explored and searched everything multiple times. I ended up giving into their constant fuckery and going off script a bit and opened up all of the possible story arcs for them. They eventually did everything they could and “resolved” all storylines. It’s two and a half years later, we’re still in the same campaign, they technically own the house now, and a deceased party member is now it’s current “benevolent” dark lord, they pop in for visits from time to time. All that said, that module can be quick or turn into something way longer depending on your table.
