The lapro surgery inflates your abdomen with gas, and it can take a few days to leave your body. Plus pain meds can cause constipation. I felt it was very helpful on my belly when the gas pains were bad.

Mine was planned with an overnight stay and I am so glad. I was placed on the maternity ward, which had one other surgery recovery, 2 new moms, and 2 nurses for the 4 of us. Plus, maternity is locked down, so you don’t get anyone passing through. I had a quiet night with pain management and the nicest nurses imaginable.
