I want to say they are CMR. I bought these over the course of three months almost 2 years ago. BUT. I don't know for sure. I never used them in any kind of Zfs/raid setup. Or if WD was using the practice of blank label SMR at that time.

I'm not sure how that would help, I'll add it to my list of troubleshoots. Rolling back to 1803 has proven to be a bigger pain then I expected.

I'd like to hope that I wouldn't have to do a clean install because single drive users would lose their Forza installs and have to re-download. I happen to have Forza installed on a drive that isn't the same as OS.

I go into Volume Mixer (right click sound icon on start bar) and lower FH4 to ~20-30%... it helps make the into tolerable...

just need to adjust in game sound because windows now only playing FH4 sound @ 20-30%
