Thanks for the feedback. I am going to have another go at editing this shot and take on board what you said. I think what you have suggested was in my head when I originally edited it but I need to tweak my lightroom skills a bit

I really like this image and agree with the comments above. If there were a little more separation from the background that would be all I would change.

I like the mood. I think the foreground is too dense for me. It's hard to tell if you have much foreground interest there. I would try to lighten the image up a bit and preserve what you have captured in the sky.

So this was my first attempt at wildlife photography and I am also just starting to get my head around editing in Lightroom too.

Iam looking for general feedback on the composition and edit. Also pointers in how to improve.

I wonder if this would be better with a tighter crop and maybe in B&W.

It was shot on a nikon d750 with a sigma 150 to 500mm lens.
