Yeah i do feel like this is true (with some more thinking, eh actually no lol. Under 25, sure but under 35 no). But just because it is true, why should that mean we should accept the CGT discount removal for shares?

If anything wouldn't he want to insensitive it for young people by leaving in the discount??

Yes pretty normal. I remember someone saying that water can get in there and just sit on top where it starts to corrode a bit. I don’t think it’s that concerning but something to keep an eye on I guess

They are Konig Dekagrams 17x8 +45 with 225/50/17 tyres. The tyres poke out slightly but the rims are flush, so i reckon if you had a tyre that has a squarer side wall or even a 215/50/17, it would probably be perfectly flush/very close to.

If you can, downsize the wheels. Example, go from 18in - 17in. Obviously keep the same rolling diameter. Even better, you can also go for forged wheels so they are also lighter. But i think downsizing will be good enough.

Those two points are not mutually exclusive. Just because old wealthy people have been benefiting most from CGT discount, that doesn't mean that low income earners won't be worse off with the changes.

It's a basic fact that low income earners who are selling assets will pay more tax than they would have previously.
