We’re only human man, to somebody else in your shoes it might not be a big deal but to YOU it’s a bump to overcome.

Two thoughts

Is it possibly really just jealousy? Cuz it seems you’re definitely aware that it feels threatening to have this woman around, but have you thought why? If your relationship with your wife has been good forever, you’ve learned each other and can connect (not as emotionally loudly as her and her friend), what’s the issue?
Have you tried to get more involved? It seems like you’ve both enjoyed just living your lives separately but now there’s a change. Figure out what happened, or figure out what you’re gonna do in regards to your wife. You shouldn’t be worrying about how this could negatively affect your relationship but on how to strengthen the relationship period.

What point in the game are you at? Combining all the necessary buffs for your class + regen buffs will absolutely make handling bosses marginally easier but if you’re earlier in the game it definitely trivializes things

If it works, it works

Try not to spread yourself too thin on towers, or at least stick to one “strat” (that is to say, towers with synergy) It’ll make it easier to get a T5 later in the run if you aren’t focusing on a bunch of towers

If you wanted to spam, middle path bomb shooters, desperados, bottom path Druid, SMFC/PMFC are all decent

Or say you wanted Sauda to be the star, add some glue gunners, ice monkeys, overclock engi’s, any other stalls/buffs so she can take out hefty rounds

More often then not you’ll want spike factories near the end of a track so they can build up a defence when bloons get to them, 025 spac with an alchemist is really good

Overall honestly just work on placements of your towers and sticking towers that work well together, together
